Loved this spot!
We sat on the dog-friendly patio, enjoyed some very tasty ciders and absolutely great sandwiches!
I had the Cider Burger and loved it, it has distinct blue cheese taste, great bacon and overall was just very, very good. Mind you, the fries, while awesome, are not celiac safe due to the fryer. My husband grabbed a Reuben and was equally happy. It was soooo good, and big, we eneded up packing some home. We will definitely come back if we are in the area.

Tonight, the wife and I made our way up to Idaho Springs for dinner. I had my heart set on Tommyknocker Brewery, but we ended up at Clear Creek Cidery & Eatery instead. We were under the impression they served steak, but apparently they took that off the menu a few years back—so that was a letdown right out of the gate.

We grabbed a table outside since the evening was nice, though it did get a bit chilly once the sun dipped. Still, we toughed it out.

To start, we ordered the Elote. As a California native, my standards for Mexican-inspired dishes are pretty high—and unfortunately, this one didn’t make the cut. It was bland and just didn’t hit the mark.

The wife got a cider flight and really enjoyed it—props to them on that. For dinner, she had the wedge salad, which was actually solid. I went with the Reuben sandwich… and let’s just say I took one bite and sent it back. Hands down one of the worst things I’ve ever tasted. No exaggeration.

Our server was chill and offered to bring me something else, but I passed and ended up finishing off the salad instead.

Overall? The service was decent, but the food didn’t do it for me. I won’t be going back—but hey, maybe you’ll have better luck. Give it a shot and decide for yourself.

Wonderful experience at this restaurant in Idaho Springs. Our server, Santi, was so nice and helpful – top tier service. I recommend the “Pacific Pineapple” cider as it’s a sweet (but not too sweet) cider with tropical flavor. If you’re undecided, try the cider flight. The chili was very good – I had the chili flight and they were all great!

Been here a few times. Ciders are superb. Great service at the bar always. One time by a long hair guy, and the other by a shaved head gentleman. The chicharrones are one of the best I have had in Colorado. Citrusy, crunchy, piggy. Can’t wait to go bk. Maybe tomorrow after skiing!

4/5 – absolutely fantastic cider! Loved every one of them of the flight I had. I will definitely be back for more cider.

Food is a bit uninspired and overpriced. Good enough to work with after a long day/hike, but definitely nothing to rave about.

Service was good and very kind!

My husband and I visited the Georgetown Railroad and headed her for lunch. We were greeted by one of the owners and the weather was perfect for sitting outside. Our waiter was kind, prompt and informative. My husband ordered the Chimichanga that just came back on the menu for the fall/winter season and it was 10/10. It was so good we ordered the apple chimichanga dessert. Again 10/10. The hard cider was wonderful as well. The overall experience was wonderful! I highly recommend!

The burgers are awesome, nice smoky flavor. They also have beers on tap.. thankfully and if you’re there get a pickle shot or two. They are the best I’ve ever had. 11/10 recommend!

Really enjoyed the flight of Ciders! Hamburger was cooked perfectly, just the way I like it. My wife enjoyed her meal too. Great alternative to Beau Jo’s! Nothing wrong with Beau Jo’s, but I’ve been there a million times and this was a great option.

It’s not fancy, but this place is really inviting; casual atmosphere, nicely varied menu and an excellent cider and beer list! They clearly have a chef, some great scratch cooked eats coming out of the kitchen. They keep it light on the salt, which is great for me. Our server was also wonderfully helpful. We’ll be back!
