I have been a fan of Clean Eatz in Winston Salem for a while, but unfortunately, things have taken a turn for the worse over the last month. The food quality, which used to be consistent and fresh, has noticeably declined. My most recent meals lacked the flavor and care I had come to expect, and some items felt hastily prepared.
The bigger issue, however, is the customer service. During my last visit, there were arguments among the staff that spilled over into the dining area, making for an awkward and uncomfortable atmosphere. It’s one thing to have off days, but witnessing such unprofessional behavior in front of customers is unacceptable.
Clean Eatz was a great option for healthy and quick meals, but with the recent changes, I can’t recommend it anymore. Hopefully, they can turn things around with better leadership and a focus on quality and professionalism.

They had an awesome musical playlist in the background. The food was good. My only complaint is that I ordered the same thing I’ve gotten at other locations but the portions were a lot less. Even though they are independently owned, a franchise should still be fairly standardized. I felt like my “large” bowl was more like a “small” bowl. I left still hungry.

Been coming here for years and forget to review! If you are a local this is a great place for many reasons. If you are busy or just need an easy week or day of eating. Let them do your meal planning! You can pick meals and buy in bulk already portioned and packaged! You can also go anytime to dine in and eat foot cooked to order as well! The bison burger is phenomenal! The drinks they offer are tasty too and the sides! I love the apple slices and PB spread too! Everything is good and they offer protein bars, drinks, low carb options and more! The staff is always friendly as well! Great place!

I recently tried Clean Eatz in Winston Salem and ordered the bison wrap with queso, black bean corn salsa, chipotle ranch, and a side of sweet potato fries. The bison wrap was a pleasant surprise—lean, flavorful, and perfectly complemented by the creamy queso and the tangy salsa. The chipotle ranch added just the right amount of kick without overpowering the other flavors. The sweet potato fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, making for a satisfying side. Overall, a solid choice for a healthy and tasty meal.
The service was top notch and everything was cooked to order, the cafe itself was super clean, and overall it was an extremely pleasant visit!
I’ll definitely be back to explore more of the menu!

Easy ordering process. We ordered a Build your own bowl with many options for combinations. The server brought it out to the table and then when he realized we were sharing he brought out another bowl the same size. Sometimes we get a dinky “extra” plate. Prices are reasonable. Side wall contains lunch portion size Grab N Go entrees and sides. Dessert bar offers reduced calorie choices. All with healthy living in mind, a rare treat in eating out and meeting health goals.

I honestly stopped going in July because the food and customer service weren’t the best around that time. I decided to give it another try today, and I’m glad I did! I didn’t recognize the new faces, but I have to brag on them. I stopped by around 6:30 PM, and the food was great and the customer service was too. Excellent employees!

Updated: Today is May 21st. I finally went back to Clean Eatz, the owner of Clean Eatz did contact me about my last review, he was very respectful and kind. Well today’s visit okay. . . Did you know they have a Beyond Burger!? I didn’t, I love Beyond Burgers. Okay, back to the review, the young lady that took our order was new (I think, she was still learning the names but knew exactly what was on each) I was asking her about each style of Burger, like the Skinny and the AB, I wanted my BB wrapped in lettuce with a little Mayo (don’t judge me) and avocado only, and a veggie cup but they gave me the wheat flat bread, my daughter ordered a wrap and a side salad, she got her wrap and potatoes, we didn’t mention potatoes at all (she wasn’t upset) we laughed at our luck, again we didn’t check the boxes before we left, I was getting off work and I was tired and hungry. Everything was good. I didn’t eat one slice of the flat bread, (cutting back on carbs) The fruit water is always delicious , I’ll go back, hopefully they will give me a 5 star, yummy, that’s exactly what I ordered service
Old review. . . I’ven to Clean Eatz a few times before today and I’ve always been happy. Today the cook burned my cauliflower, so everything in the bowl taste burnt. I made it home so I didn’t drive back to get a refund. A one star for today’s visit. It would have been nice if she looked at it and remade it.

Clean. Good was delicious. Staff needs to be a little more compassionate and approachable. Fine with taking orders but no people skills. Purchased lunch for a person pushing a shopping cart of their belongings. The cashier brought over a frozen meal…. What?

Another great lunch at Clean Eatz. They are my number one choice to get something healthy to eat in Winston-Salem.
I always eat something at the restaurant, but I think a large portion of their business is pre-prepared meals to take out. They also have meal plans that you could sign up for.
I usually build my own bowl, but they’ve actually got a pretty good variety of things to choose from. They are also in a very convenient location, right near a fitness center, and Starbucks.
