I stopped by Clayton’s Tap for breakfast a few days ago. On the Internet, my 8:00 arrival time was listed as not very busy. The place was packed and there was only one woman serving everybody. She was the hardest working waitress/bartender I have ever seen. She was very good at her job. I had bacon, eggs and toast. It was simple and pretty good. The atmosphere is what anyone would expect for a bar and grill. I’ll be back.

Just had my car serviced in Ottawa and was driving home past Morris and decided to have lunch at Clayton’s Pub. We had been there before and had been very satisfied with the food. My wife had the shrimp po’boy and I had the fish and chips. I was very surprised by the serving size. There were two large pieces of cod fish. More than enough for lunch and very tasty. My wife also enjoyed her sandwich. I was also happy to see they will be serving Yuengling on tap the end of January. I lived in Florida for 13 years and became hooked on Yuengling beer. I forgot to take pictures. Maybe next time.

Best Biscuits and Gravy I have ever had at a restaurant. If you like them with lots of pepper you will love them. People were super friendly and efficient. Fun bar vibe. Prices were crazy good!!!

I had an unusual and concerning experience here recently. On Friday morning, after having two Bloody Marys with food, I began experiencing symptoms that were consistent with being drugged, including loss of motor control and incoherence. Having worked as a bartender and bar back in the past, I know what that feels like, and I do not use drugs.
To be clear, I do not believe the bar or staff were at fault. Based on the level of effect, I believe it was residual contamination from a glass that had previously been tampered with, rather than anything intentional directed at me. That said, it may be worth ensuring glasses are cleaned thoroughly to prevent something like this from happening again.
My concern is not with this establishment, but with whoever thought it was acceptable to drug someone in the first place. I hope they spend the rest of their life in federal prison with a very friendly cell-mate, and I also hope they were not successful with whoever they originally tried to drug.
I do want to say, that the food was amazing, and up until I started feeling the effects of whatever substance that was lingering in my drink… I did enjoy it.

Great service. Casey was a great bartender. Very Social, knew her customers and kept the bar clean. Cleanest bathroom I’ve ever been in. We were traveling and friends recommended this place. Friends got the fried fish & fries and husband got the buffalo chicken wrap and they were all good. My turkey Reuben was kinda bland. Highly recommend

Don’t have the jack or titos visible but they got it if you ask. Bartender Sarah was amazing, always there as soon as I needed another.

Nice local tavern. The food was OK but there were 6 of us on a Saturday for lunch. It was not that busy. Our food came out 2 orders at a time. 2 of us were finished eating before the last person even got their food. And 2 of the orders were incorrect. The server did adjust our bill and she was pleasant but it’s not a place I would pick for a meal. I would go back but maybe just for a beer and a snack

Went with the family to see Cody Calkins Band to play and had a great time. Sarah was absolutely amazing and was one of the best bartenders i have had the experience of dealing with. Extremely professional and definitely good at what she does. Handled a full bar by herself before the band started as if she was used to that non stop.
