We had lunch and breakfast here and it was absolutely incredible. Their breakfast sandwich was as so flavorful and their Maple Spiced Latte is the best coffee drink I think I’ve ever had (which is saying a lot because I’m from the Philadelphia area). Highly recommend!

We’ve been coming here and it’s previous location for more than twenty years and love it!

This place is pricey and has really gone down hill! I ordered 1/2 of the turkey BLT and a cup of the lemon chicken orzo soup($11.50). The sandwich was supposed to be grilled, it was not. Very small portion as illustrated in the posted picture. The Borealis sourdough bread was stale and hard. One piece of turkey in the sandwich, and the bacon was fabricated, with a funky liquid smoke flavor. Not good! The soup was salty with 2 pieces of chicken in it. Super expensive and a disappointing experience. Save your money and go to Bruce’s Burritos across the highway for a quality lunch! Not returning here!!

My parents are patrons and always talk about Clayton’s. I was finally able to try it out. They frequent for lunch and rave about the place. We came for breakfast this time and I was disappointed in the egg sandwiches. The egg is that tasteless probably frozen and microwaved rectangle patty. Otherwise the coffee was great, there’s a cute little sweets section in the back and some wonderful local artist gift cards etc.

The service is friendly & organized, thank you! The soups start with a garlic base and it’s too much!!! As a working person, going back to work with a mouth full of garlic taste is not friendly, but rather it’s off putting. No matter how much we brush our teeth after a meal of soup, the garlic doesn’t go away. I’m begging you so I can return, please go easier on the garlic when making your soups.

Delightful stop along US 1. The patio was bustling when we showed up and people were ordering from the kitchen side. There was also another counter serving baked goods so we got a few to try. I especially loved the pumpkin cheesecake with a really tasty crust and filling that was not too sweet, but flavorful. There is a whole section of candy in the back, and signs around the store showcasing the accolades. Coffee was good and fresh, food looked good, and highly recommend as a stop just outside of Portland.

Excellent sandwiches and baked goods. Staff was friendly and service was quick. I had their classic chicken salad sandwich and it was excellent. I am picky about chicken salad sandwiches, and this was hands down one of if not the best I’ve had. Good flavors, just the right amount of mayo, great bread. Highly recommend you try this spot out.

The sandwiches and baked goods at Clayton’s are excellent! The fresh mozzarella sandwich with sundried tomato pesto, fresh sliced tomatoes, and fresh crispy lettuce was so delicious. I would definitely order that again! The whole sandwich was plenty of food to keep me full all afternoon. Looking forward to trying their half sandwich and cup of soup combo next time. We picked up our takeout sandwiches around 1:30 and the inside was packed. I definitely recommend calling ahead to place a to-go order, and avoiding peak lunch hours if you don’t want to wait in a line. Lots of outdoor seating to eat your food!

Have been visiting this wonderful place for over 20 years. The food is as great now as it was then and I’m so happy it’s still a Yarmouth staple. The Mediterranean wrap and turkey sandwich are delicious.
