***** IF you like Biscuits ***** —this is the place to go for biscuits and gravy!!! we had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant, and it was a delightful experience overall. The ambiance was inviting and perfect for a mid-morning meal. The menu offered a variety of options at affordable prices, generally ranging from $5 to $10 per person. The food itself was delicious, with generous portions that left me feeling satisfied but not overly stuffed. I especially appreciated the freshness of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the presentation. Service was prompt and friendly, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a tasty and budget-friendly lunch option. It’s definitely a place I would return to!

I went to the Clayton Dime Store restaurant for a quick breakfast, and I was not disappointed. The service is great, the food is wonderful, and the tables are clean. This restaurant has a very unique vibe and atmosphere.
If you are in Clayton, you really need to stop here.

If you’re a deer hunter in this area, I highly recommend stopping by the dimestore restaurant. Their food is absolutely delicious. Very friendly service and very reasonable prices.. And I recommend their hamburgers. They’re absolutely off the hook.

Two double cheeseburgers with fries and drinks came out to $33. Unfortunately, the burgers were frozen patties that were pre-cooked and held in broth until ordered, which was disappointing. I was really hoping for more, especially from a small-town spot in Alabama where you expect a good, classic burger.

The best little mom and pop Cafe. The best service ever! Food and atmosphere was great. Couldn’t ask for anything any better. Will stop here every time we pass through.

One time while at the Clayton Dime Store Restaurant my wife ordered some chili one time. We both watched them open a can of hot dog chili and heat it and serve it to her. That’s not my or her idea of chili. We never felt that great about eating here. The atmosphere just didn’t sit right with us. The wait staff was polite and all.

I have very fond memories of this business. My family lived in Clayton until I was 11 years of age. I remember my Aunt Gloria taking my sister and I here after we helped her deliver newspapers all over Clayton. She would buy us a toy and lunch. This was in the early 1980’s.
I remember at the time this store sold all sorts of cool toys that you could not find anywhere else. They had a small restaurant in the store. Everything they made was absolutely delicious, especially their cheeseburgers and French fries. At the time a very friendly, Christian couple owned the store. It was always a pleasure to speak with them.

Really good food, wonderful staff, and very fair prices. Try the Patty melt or the hash brown casserole, both are very good dishes. Burgers are good too! Definitely should visit if you pass through Clayton.
