New place near us we have been hearing about and had to try it. The initial look of it is not your typical restaurant because it’s an old bar but I’ll tell you the food was delicious and the staff were so nice. We tried 3 different chicken dishes and everyone of them were great. We did the curry, chilly, butter chicken, rice and garlic and chili naam. I highly recommend trying this place and we will definitely be back.

They don’t have buffets anymore, but Veg Thali and Non-Veg Thali are much better! The servings are big that I couldn’t finish my food and had my leftovers to go. Good food, yummy chai masala, and friendly service. Will definitely stop by when in the area

The flavors were absolutely delicious! We ordered the garlic naan with butter chicken, tiki masala and lamb curry which was on point. The tandoori chicken was cooked fresh and served with a sizzle to your table. Highly recommend this hidden gem if you are passing through to the lakes or just want a tasty family meal!

We went on Mother’s Day, but we had been wanting to try it for a while. The owners were super friendly and welcoming. They were very attentive to our then 18-19-month-old and let him play with the billiards balls. The food was absolutely fabulous, so delicious, an amazing mélange of flavours and generous portions. Their mango lassi was the BEST ever. They also have some event space that we hope to use in the near future. We hope to try some drinks from their bar too.

I am an Indian food lover, I was very hungry when I arrived. The menu was broad enough to accommodate most. Had the Samosa Chaat, they were hand made omg delicious. And then there was the Korma hands down the best I have had. Fresh gooey garlic Naan washed down with a rich Masala Tea. I will definitely go back again.

I think this was the best Indian food I have ever had. The service was great for one person. More people should go so.tjis place can hite more staff. Even if slow service it was worth the wait . There were not enough customers for the high quality of food being served. Please visit this place!

Stopped in on a Sunday evening. Very friendly service and delicious food! We had Garlic Naan, Chicken Tika Masala, Saag Paneer, Lamb Vindaloo, and a Dal that was recommended. Everything was so good. The Naan was super fresh and hot too. Don’t miss the Mango Lassi. It may have been the best one I have had. We will be back!

Wonderful, wonderful Indian food. The service is also very good; we are greeted with a warm welcome and a smile every visit. Pickup is easy. Call and big order is ready within 30 minutes. So nice to have such a quality place in Lockeford/Clements area!

I was passing through Lockford and saw Clay Oven restaurant so I ordered to go. I brought it home and oh my goodness this is probably the best butter chicken and garlic naan I’ve ever had… And I live in the Sacramento area where there’s a lot of Indian restaurants. Well done! I will be back.

I’d heard great things about this place, so I decided to give it a try while our usual Indian restaurant was undergoing renovations. And I’m so glad I did!
The food was fabulous—rich flavors, generous portions, and a satisfying variety. We enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Masala, Shrimp Curry, Fish Pakora, and Naan bread, all of which were delicious. This spot has officially become our new favorite!
I especially appreciate that they offer dishes we hadn’t tried before, expanding our palate in the best way. I only wish they had more combo options available, as that would make exploring the menu even easier.
