We had a bad experience. We ordered Puri and Plain roti here and they are really thick, chewy and taste less. Not going to order again.

This restaurant didn’t live up to their name. I thought it would be authentic Indian food but it’s flavors aren’t hitting and missing ghee or butter. Even the nana was so dry missing ghee or butter!
Disappointed ☹️

Serving excellent lunch special deals everyday. Very hearty authentic Indian food with good portions. You can dine in inside but why not eat outside at their patio area for a nice sunny San Diego lunch? They make fresh mango lasi in house, keep up the good work! Parking is limited so most likely you’ll have to look for street parking.

Excellent experience. The food felt quite home-made, rather than mass-produced. We liked the outdoor atmosphere and didn’t mind the slightly longer than expected wait time. Will come back in the near future.

Very authentic indian flavors. We ordered 2 vegetarian special lunch one with Dal and chana masala and other one with Chefs special and Paneer tikka masala. Evering tasted fresh and delicious. Chefs special was too good. Portion size is pretty generous. Garlic naan was perfectly cooked and crispy.

The food here is really mouthwatering with Smokey coal flavor and buttery smooth sauce. The spicy level according to Indian standards is not that spicy in spite giving a significant spice level. The naan was flaky and fresh. The rice was fully cooked and was good with the sauce. The quantity is good for the price. The price to quantity ratio is good.
The seating area is cozy but overall I really loved the food here.

Really good indian restaurant in Torrey Pines. Food was really good. Their Goat curry and Saag items were top notch. Naan and Roti were very the best i have had in sometime. Must visit place if you are around.

Rishi took our order and informed us that they were takeout only and he was nice enough to set up a table with a heater for my family while we waited for the food. The food came out fresh and hot and as specified in terms to spice levels, etc. I’d highly recommend Clay Oven to anyone craving some authentic Indian food in the La Jolla area.

I order Uber eats at this place the food looked good in the app I was very excited for the fish pakora but sadly I got this instead a pic of very dry fish cover with flour but the worst part is that didn’t had no flavor at all, Indian food is full of flavor I am very disappointed I also order samosa it was okay not very good either but won’t order from here no more. Please do better at this is not good when you pay $30 dollars for 2 items and not get what you paid for!!

Had a nice dine in dinner tonight. One vegetarian, one pescatarian and one meat eater-we all loved our food. Tons of food and plenty leftovers.
