Don’t tell my wife, but this is MY fav place for lobster roll. The other one starts with M and ends with ‘s’ but I won’t reveal what it is.
Claws loads their rolls over the top, yummy simple and fresh flavor that will burst in your mouth and remind you of the warm embrace of the sun, gentle breeze with the subtle hint of seaweeds on a sandy Maine beach with the cold one in your hand. You might even hear a soothing sound of ocean waves while you basking in the flavors of their lobster roll.

Terrific lobster and quohog clams, fab blueberry crumble. Perfect atmosphere out on the lobster pound pier. Sparkling blue water the day we were there. Very nice staff, well organized ordering and table delivery system. Heaven!!!

The food was absolutely delicious! The lobster meat was so sweet and succulent. The waitstaff was kind and helpful, even tying on our lobster bibs! There was a bit of a wait for picking up drinks at the bar as the bartender was not manning the bar when I arrived to pick up my drink—but my drink was delightful! If you are looking for a lobster shack in Rockland, you should stop at Claws!

All those “Best of the Best” signs are legit. Had the lazy lobster dinner and it was fantastic. Others in my group had clam chowder, salad, and lobster rolls and we all came away more than satisfied. The seating provides great views over the bay. Service is fast and friendly. Claws is now one my favorite places in Rockland!

Rarely does a restaurant redefine what a dish is supposed to taste like. Claws has done that with their lobster roll. My wife is Gluten Free so we got both regular and GF rolls. Both were amazing. If you are within 50 miles of this place, it’s worth the walk!

I looked at the menu for this spot and came here soley because of the Maine Lobster Stuffed Doughnuts. I share those with my husband and got some of the Blueberry Cornbread too.
The cornbread is good, but that’s not why you need to come here. The doughnuts are one of the best things I’ve eaten this year. They’re a little bit like a Crab Rangoon, but replace the wonton with a slightly sweet doughnut and then cover it in an old bay seasoned butter.
I was expecting them to be small little donut holes and I couldn’t have been more off base. They were huge full size doughnuts and had so much filling. This could definitely be a full meal if you didn’t share it.
I would go out of my way just to eat these doughnuts again.

Great lobster roll, minus the roll. I did a carryout order of mayo lobster on greens instead of the roll plus a side of slaw. The food was delicious! Great atmosphere, I had a cocktail while I waited for my order. It came out very quickly but I stayed to enjoy the view.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant, food delicious, service was fantastic and they answered all this Louisiana girls questions about clams with a good heart.
