Place is like a cozy beach house with thee grandest bar. Taylor was so amazingly accommodating, just great service!! I also think I found my favorite lobster roll on LI. Potato bun was buttered and toasted and the lobster was packed. It was so good I remembered to take a pic halfway. Definitely coming back before the summer season leaves us. ✨

My family and I booked a reservation for Thanksgiving night. We were greeted at the door by the hostess who was friendly and shared with us how the evening worked. Dinner was buffet style and included in the price fixed dinner, drinks were extra. (Which we already knew, it was clear when we made the reservation. However, we appreciated that she clarified.) The restaurant had sweet fall decorations. Our waitress was extremely friendly, as was the rest of the staff. Everyone had a smile on their face. We were made to feel right at home. The manager came around to great all the patrons and checked on all the tables. The food was delicious!!! The salads were fresh and lightly dressed. The biscuits were some of the best we ever had. The turkey was moist and and the gravy was hot. The apple pie and tiramisu were great as well.
Thank you Claudio’s for making our Thanksgiving night so special.

Dinner and drinks were amazing! Brett suggested the dirty martini and it was out of this world. It went great with the Caesar salad. For dinner I had the lobster pot pie and my husband had a strip streak with a baked potato. It hit the spot on a windy cold November night. Definitely can’t miss this place!!

I visited Greenport on a sunny November day with my mom to walk around and enjoy the water. We decided to stop in at Claudio’s for lunch, which is an institution in the town at this point. The restaurant was crowded, but not like the summer time, and we were able to immediately get a nice seat looking out onto the water to enjoy our food.

I ordered shrimp and grits, while my mom ordered a classic lobster roll. The grits were creamy and rich, although the portion of shrimp were meager. However, the seasoning on the dish compensated for it and I enjoyed the fresh combination of flavors, with the crunch of the tortilla chips adding a nice texture. The presentation of the dish was well done, with fresh herbs sprinkled on top of the food in a small cast iron pan.

The lobster roll was, as you would expect, delicious! With meat that was tender and sweet, and a roll buttered and toasted to perfection. We just found ourselves wishing there was more lobster to enjoy!

While the meal was pricey, the combination of delicious food, beautiful surroundings, and a relaxed atmosphere make it the great spot for a casual yet upscale dining experience. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.

Victoria was our server, and she was amazing! We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience — start to finish. We had the bang bang shrimp and the fettuccini bolognese, and both were delicious! Highly recommend!

rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Claudio’s waterfront was today unacceptable. The service was the worst we’ve ever encountered—slow, inattentive, and careless. Our server barely checked in, and when issues were brought up, they were brushed off rather than addressed. We had to ask for a claw cracker for a 55 dollar plate of crab, then for little forks and a bread plate that was thrown on the table in a fit of disgust for having disturbed one of the the waitresses we think named Consuela.

The first waitress I think named Brittany was polite and apologized about the cold soup. It was, however delicious. It was a total B squad shift that really needs to be taught customer service 101 however I don’t think it can be saved. I blame the management for such horrible service.

The bathrooms were filthy and looked like a grenade went off in the stalls. Just an awful experience overall. We couldn’t wait to leave. And it seems like they really know what’s going on and how bad it really is -but expect people to put up with it. At least we saved a family of six from going in who were grateful they saw us leave with utter disgust in our voices as we were talking about the rotten experience.

What really stood out was the horrible management. Instead of stepping in to improve the situation, management seemed disengaged and dismissive.
A restaurant in such a beautiful location should deliver hospitality, but unfortunately, Claudio’s fell far short.

I would never recommend this place -if you’re looking for good service or professional management this is not the place.
