Lovely experience when we went for V-day lunch. Loved the sourdough bread which went well with the butter topped with bacon bits I think. Escargot was alright, a little mild IMO- butter/herbs taste can be stronger. Loved the steak which was decently crusted. What blew my mind was the Coq Au Vin- super tender chicken thigh with this very nice sauce which had reduced red wine in it. The cabbage and other vegetables that went with the chicken thigh were cooked in butter and that tasted heavenly when paired with the red wine sauce. So good! Service was excellent too and we enjoyed ourselves. Will be back!

We started with the French snails in garlic butter — classic, indulgent, and wonderfully fragrant. For mains, the Kampot pepper steak flambé was the star of the evening. Perfectly cooked and richly sauced, with that addictive peppery crunch that gives both heat and texture in every bite. It paired nicely with a glass of Maison Lou Dumont, which had a slightly acidic profile that cut through the richness of the steak beautifully
Dessert was the île flottante — light, elegant, and a refined way to end the meal
Service was impressive, especially for a crowded weekend evening. The staff remained attentive and warm despite the full house
A couple of small cons: the restaurant is cosy and can feel a bit tight when it’s packed, and the carpark is really dark at night — something to take note of

Beloved family friends took us here on our recent trip to Singapore. From start to finish we were very well looked after. Attentive respectful service but not intrusive. Food was sublime. Could not fault any of the dishes. Even the butter was amazing lol. Surprisingly child friendly as we had a total of 5 kids in our large group. Beautiful setting of course. Highly recommend for a beautiful meal if you’re in Singapore!

The food was delicious and full of flavour, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel very welcome throughout our meal. had nye dinner here and really enjoyed the experience. ordered the tartare, bouillabaisse, and truffade de claudine. food was great, the broth for the bouillabaisse was addictive. loved the table side prep for the tartare. can’t wait to head back for the other dishes.

Visited Claudine for my birthday dinner and left deeply disappointed. While I enjoyed the scallops and ravioli, the rest of the dishes were underwhelming, and the service completely fell apart once all our dishes were served. Requests took ages or were simply forgotten — even when the restaurant wasn’t busy. Getting a drinks menu and the bill required multiple reminders. We were seated right in the middle of the dining room at a long bench table for seven, so it wasn’t as if we could have been missed.
When it started pouring, my friend politely asked a waiter to shelter her to the carpark for her Grab, only to be told, “I’m afraid I can’t help, as I’ll get drenched.” No alternative was offered. Moments later, we saw two ladies (likely part-timers, dressed in plain white without vests or blazers) helping other guests with umbrellas — thankfully, they assisted my friend too.
To the part-timers who helped, thank you. But to the full-time staff — this level of service is unacceptable for a restaurant of this calibre. It only takes a few careless individuals to ruin an entire experience. I’ll think twice before returning.

Claudine is one of the best bistros in Singapore! Chef Julien Mercier and his team deliver amazing French food with heart and precision. Their Chou Farci (voted World’s Best Chou Farci 2024) is absolutely outstanding, and the steak tartare is easily the best in Singapore.
Whether it’s for brunch, lunch, dinner, or even a special event, Claudine always impresses with delicious food, warm service, and a beautiful ambience. A true gem!
