Lovely little place. We had dinner and there were only 2 other people dining in. The owner mentioned we were the first customers of the day! The food tasted like a home cooked meal. The owner was happy to explain dishes to us and offer suggestions. Everything was cooked to order and came to the table as it was ready. Truly felt like a home.

WOW. I’ve had thai food in LA, NY, and many places in between, and this is some of the absolute best. The owner/chef is from Bangkok, so it’s 100% authentic – no games. Every dish had complex and full flavors and were so satisfying. Portions aren’t too large, just right. The restaurant inside is unassuming, decorated with authentic art and Thai ornaments. I recommend the dumplings and the drunken noodles. Plus, it’s BYOB!
Wow, just wow. I am so surprised to find this good of food in the middle of Illinois. I am so glad we stopped here for dinner. Blew me away.

We were driving through town and found this place. Thankfully it was open for take out during covid. Excellent customer service. The owner Lili is from Bangkok and been here 10 years if I understood her correctly. Everything we ordered was delicious. If you live or pass by the town of Effingham be sure to give this place a try. It’s the only Thai food restaurant in town. Owner came to the parking lot to ask us how our food was. Then came out again and brought us some delicious complimentary mango crunchy rolls. We’ll definitely be stopping here again anytime we are nearby.

I love going here because it is unlike anything else in Effingham. Chef always surprises me with something I have never tried before. This evening appetizer #1 Chicken skewers with peanut dipping sauce to go along with a big bowl of Coconut chicken curry and noodle soup, extra spicy 🙂 It was delicious, I can’t wait to go back for lunch.

really bad experience! The restaurant raised the price by $2 for each dish after we finished the order, and charged 1 dollar for the bottle water without asking if we need the water! The worst thing is the dishes tasted badly! The worst Thai food I ever had!!!! They do not have print bill, but a hand written one, and they did a wrong calculation in purpose because even we pointed it out, the restaurant did not admitted it at the beginning until we started to argue it!!!

I’m from the California Bay Area and I’ve tried a lot of authentic Thai places. The food here was excellent for being in a very rural area. I would definitely come back here to eat and recommend this spot to my friends. Very yummy pad thai and potstickers.

Authentic Thai food deliciously prepared. The owner was very helpful in making suggestions and selecting the spiciness of our meal. Had crab dumplings as appetizer and my husband and I shared the drunken noodles and ginger chicken on rice. All was perfectly seasoned with lots of fresh vegetables. Highly recommend!

I was the only one in the place at the time of pickup and had to have been one of the few orders of the night based on how delighted lady behind the counter was to see me. She thanked me several times for ordering from her. I could tell she cooked my order fresh!
Cashew chicken and potstickers are excellent!
It’s a little pricey for the amount of food I received. $25 total when listed at $11 and $5 online, unless prices have changed.
