I recently placed an order for delivery and was told that I could expect it between 45 mins to an hour. After an hour and 20 minutes I called about the arrival of my delivery but after being on hold for 5 minutes the young woman on the phone took 15 minutes to tell me that she made a mistake and while I was charged for the order the cooks never received my order. After repeating my self several times I was told that my order would be delivered when the driver returned to the restaurant and she did apologize.
When I asked that I be called when the driver picked up my order, she became offended and told me that I was disrespectful because she had made a mistake. I told her that I wasn’t disrespectful and that if she was earnest she would have written down everything I told her so I wouldn’t have to repeat my phone number 3 times during my call. Unfortunately this is the first time I’ve had my Delivery be this late but not the first time I’ve had problems with the person taking the orders over the phone. I’ve been getting food from Classic Sub since 1976. My order finally arrived 2hrs and 45mins after I originally placed it, the pizza was good as usual and the Roast Beef hoagie was quite tasty but instead of Onion Rings I was given Curly Fries and I was okay with it.

Classic Sub Shop has a great variety of hoagies and fresh salads to accommodate any of their meals or platters. Other specials that are freshly made include my favorite roast beef sandwich that includes three side orders. New Panini sandwiches have become the Mt Airy dine-in favorite; I prefer the mozzarella fresca Panini.
I have enjoyed many of their Stromboli, my favorite is the steak Stromboli, but as of lately – I have grown to love their classic special. Every dish is seasoned just right, with the proper amount of salt, not overwhelming, especially those individuals monitoring their sodium intake.
Lunch specials are reasonably prices, and take-out offers a great menu for busy professionals.
The everyday specials I particularly love – for the economic value and the affordability – to feed a large group of family, friends, and business associates.
Pros: Super great sandwich and hoagie selection, and tasty Italian pasta dishes. Dining area has adequate and appropriate seating for dine-in. Kitchen staff takes care in washing hands after food preparation. Nice seafood combination platters available for seafood lovers.

I order the #1 special delivery. My pizza was cold, the mozzarella sticks taste like they were fried in old grease, the marinara sauce was watered down and they forhit the free 2 liter soda. The person that answered the phone was rude.

I placed a take-out order via the Slice App. When I arrived to pick up the food, the signage on the restaurant said it was a Mexican restaurant, but the correct address was the Classic Sub Shop listed—the Slice App.
I walked in to pick up my order, and no one was at the counter. When someone finally came out, they answered the ringing phone to take what seemed like a lengthy order.

They suck. They don’t answer the phone so the guy at the counter said. He couldn’t understand me i couldn’t understand him. He rang up a grilled chicken salad up at$67.50. Then he didn’t know how much it was. I walked out the store. I don’t know what happened but I’ll never go there again.

Normally, the food is good. Saturday my daughter said the cheese steak meat tasted strange. Yesterday, ordered mozzarella fries (2), chicken cheese steak and other things. Delivered without the fries. When fries later delivered the cheese was not mozzarella and the normally delicious fries were terrible. The extra instructions were disregarded. Something has changed. I will not order again. This is sad because we order frequently.

Food was all around not good. I got chicken Tacos/ fries and chicken wings one day and there was NO LOVE in the food whatsoever. Fries were cold. Chicken was hard to the point I couldn’t even bite through the meat. No seasoning on ANYTHING. Just stale and tasteless. I’m honestly surprised they’re still in business. And I was overcharged.
