From the moment you walk towards the entrance, the delicious smell of the smoker wafts your way and makes your taste buds salivate. We stopped by for an early lunch on a Thursday on our way to the Boise metro area and I was so glad I found them. The pictures can’t capture the wonderful flavor of Tim’s custom smoked meats. And the prices are very reasonable. Tip: if you’re a lighter eater, skip the bread and stick with just the meat and sides. As a gluten-friendly/free diner, I ordered the Tri-tip sandwich without the bread, with a side of their delicious baked beans that had bits of smoked meat, and since they were out of coleslaw, we had side Cesar salads. Everything was fresh and delicious, the Tri-tip was cooked perfectly – juicy, medium-to-medium rare, with a thick crust of herbs and spice rub – and a wonderful smoked flavor. It was so good, I didn’t even want to put their homemade sauce on it, but that was also great. I’ve marked this as a fave go-to when I’m heading through from the Seattle Metro area to Boise.

So glad we stopped here! Stopped in for lunch on the drive across the state. Staff was very friendly and food was delicious! Portions were great and the atmosphere was in a unique place with history and art all around! Definitely a worthwhile pitstop – don’t just pull off the highway and eat at the typical fast food – take the extra mile and stop here. Even the locals were eating here and very friendly! Gave my kids frisbees on the way out – Thanks Classic Grill’n Cafe!

Our business was celebrating our 20 year anniversary and we went through Classic Grill’n for catering. I got to speak directly with the owners and they we’re more than happy to adjust dates and number of plates whenever I needed.
When the celebration date came, Bertie and Karen came with smiles and ready to serve! The food was amazing.
We did the hotdog and burger package and everything was delicious. We’re a construction business so all the guys getting off work were extremely excited to see the food ready to serve and dug right in! We got to keep any leftovers and everybody was more than happy to take more food home with them!
These people know what they’re doing and if you’re on the hunt for some serious barbecue, give them a call or check out their new cafe!
We’ll definitely be looking forward to using them again in the future!

We met Tim and Birdie at the Bridal Expo in Pasco, the minute we took a bite of the Tri Tip and their baked beans we all looked each other and immediately grabbed their business card and sent an email by the end of the day to book them as our caterer for our wedding. The best BBQ we’ve had in town! Their response time was impressive, they were easy to work with, and made the process simple. They showed up prepared, they setup and kindly served all our guests. The food was absolutely delicious and we got so many compliments on the food. We will definitely refer them to anyone looking for a caterer. Thank you for helping make our special day such a great day!!

100% must have. If you’re in Othello or need bbq catering these are your people. We tried the brisket, chicken and birria tacos, we were blown away. The meat had great flavor and was not dry.
