My wife and I had an incredible time at a classic Chinese restaurant. She’s from Beijing and has super high standards for Chinese food, and this place totally exceeded them. They serve family-style, so it’s a great place for a family or group dinner. And the best part? Everything was delicious! The staff was super attentive and the servers were super well-trained.

Went in the evening and we had no wait time and the food was good.The menu has so many things to pick from that you have to go over the menu a few times! I myself, the last time ordered coconut shrimp, very delicious.Thisctime I picked sweet and sour chicken and I liked it very much!

Classic Chinese Food in Laguna Hills was an absolute standout and easily a five-star experience. Every dish we ordered was excellent, with the Singapore Noodles being the clear highlight—beautifully prepared and full of flavor. The Peking Duck was perfectly presented, the spicy green beans had just the right kick and texture, and the Kung Pao 3 was bold, fresh, and incredibly satisfying. I rarely overeat, and I’m also very picky about Chinese food, so it’s not something I eat often due to be consistently dissappointed. That said, the food was so good that I found myself eating far more than usual. I was originally drawn in by the photos, but the experience exceeded expectations. You can truly taste the quality and care in every dish. This is a place I’ll happily return to and confidently recommend.

Our food was very good, both traditional and Americanized menu items. On our last visit I think there was a staffing change over just after we ordered our food. Our server took our order, delivered most of our food and then was gone. After the meal we waited for over 45 minutes for someone to check in on our party. When we asked for boxes and the check it felt like the server was irritated that we had asked. I’m not sure there was communication between the staff going off shift and those remaining on site. With so much competition in this area, this kind of misstep is unfortunate.

The food here is very flavorful and memorable. Their almond tea dessert reminds me of the ones I used to have when I was younger as the flavors are so aromatic from the great quality almond powder they use. It was just too bad they discontinued it for a while. However, recently their overall quality has dropped, but it may just be that one experience.

This place is busy but it means their food is good. They have lunch special set that comes with rice and soup (for dine-in) during the weekdays which make their delicious food a good deal. I would say this is the best Chinese restaurant in South OC. The ingredients are fresh. Currently, like most other restaurants, they are short of staff, so be patient and polite if they can’t sit your party immediately. After we got seated, and placed our order, the food was served fairly quickly.

Disappointed. I always go there to take my elderly mother moo shu pork with the delicious plum sauce. Returned home, opened it. They no longer serve it with the sauce. It was very bland. All they had to do was tell me and I would have ordered something else. This was Tues 12/23 7:30 pm takeaway. And I even tipped them. Just a courtesy hey we don’t serve it with plum sauce anymore would have been appreciated.
