Small cafe, no frills, friendly staff. Waitress was attentive. Western Omelette was cheesy and good. Grits had a lot of black pepper but creamy. Pancakes were huge! As well as sausage patties.

If you want a great breakfast with good old fashioned southern hospitality, then Clary’s is the place for you. Nestled in the heart of Savannah, this quaint eatery has several breakfast and lunch items to choose from. I went with a more traditional bacon and eggs, with grits (of course), and it was superb. The cup of fruit was overflowing with fresh bananas and strawberries. Service was super friendly, warm, and accommodating. Great Savannah dining experience.

My wife and I stopped by Clary’s Cafe today for lunch after a tour and we had no trouble getting a table at about 12:30PM. The restaurant has the feeling and atmosphere of a diner. There is a long counter/bar and then several tables available as well. This is an old school cafe that serves breakfast all day as well as lunch. Our server was friendly and polite and made a few suggestions. I took her up on the Reuben as she said it was one od their most popular items. My wife opted for a fried chicken club sandwich. We both agreed that we would easily order these again. The Reuben had lean slices of corned beef piled high with cheese, thousand island and kraut. All of that between two perfectly golden grilled pieces of rye bread! The chicken sandwich my wife ordered was huge! The Kaiser bun could hardly contain the chicken filet. Both of these were served with crinkle cut fries which are our favorite. We got dessert to go and really enjoyed our lunch. Next time, I will try something from the breakfast menu.

Had breakfast here and sat outside. Get there early or you’ll have to wait for table. We were there early and was able to get table outside. Food was good. Corn beef hash was the star. Started to get busy and so we have to ask for a couple things few times. Not a deal breaker. Staff was wonderful. We will be back because the price for the quantity and quality is above par and it is located in a residential areas where locals seem visit. Really nice break from the busy tourist areas.

Clary’s Cafe in Savannah, GA left a lasting impression on me with its warm and welcoming atmosphere. As I sat at the breakfast bar, I witnessed a heartwarming interaction between the mail lady and the staff that truly exemplified the kindness of the place. The mail lady, who seemed exhausted from her early morning rounds, was greeted by the guy at the register who offered her a drink. He promptly arranged for a staff member to prepare a sweet tea for her to go, and to my surprise, it was on the house. This small act of generosity spoke volumes about the staff’s character and made the experience even more special.

Well worth the wait to get in. This place is basically controlled chaos that works very well. The food was excellent we had the Philly cheese steak and the California Ruben both were great. They used their own smoked turkey on the ruben and the Philly steak had real chopped steak. I Highly recommend eating here.

Stopped here for bkfst this morning. Pet friendly outdoor area (the server brought a water bowl to us right away). Inside looked like a diner. I had the Elvis because I love the combination of peanut butter and bananas. It was really good and big (basically 2 full toasts, cut in halves)! My son had the hash and said it was excellent! Hubby said the ham was the real thing. And DIL loved the omelet as she said the veggies were roasted 1st.

This is a pretty good place to get a good meal. They close at 2pm on Sundays but will seat you all the way up to that time. Just sign in with the outside attendant and wait 20 minutes for him to call your name. Our waitress was so nice (she had a cute short haircut)! I ordered the Alpine Burger which has mushrooms and Swiss cheese on it plus it comes with fries or chips. It was so yummy! My friend ordered the Chicken Philly with chips and she killed it. This place has great food, service and short wait times. Don’t be discouraged by the long line outside because it moves rather quick.

This is a must visit. If you are lucky, you will get to sit where movie stars have sat. My wife and daughter got the crab cake eggs Benedict and the corned beef Eggs Benedict then shared. The picture is one of each. I had the western omelette.

All three meals were delicious and were served in a very good portion. This cafe is definitely a place to visit and highly recommended!
