I stopped by Clarke’s at Faneuil Hall while walking around Quincy Market, and it turned out to be a solid casual pub experience. The place has that classic Boston bar vibe — a little crowded, lively, and full of locals and tourists grabbing drinks or watching sports.

I ordered a burger with fries, and it was surprisingly good. The beef patty was thick and juicy, and the fries were crispy and satisfying. The menu is mostly classic American pub food like wings, nachos, sandwiches, and fish & chips — simple comfort food done well.

The atmosphere felt relaxed and friendly, especially if you just want to sit down for a beer after exploring the historic Faneuil Hall area. Service was decent; not overly attentive, but typical for a busy bar.

Overall, Clarke’s isn’t a fancy restaurant, but it’s a great spot for a casual meal, drinks, and a classic Boston pub atmosphere.

Stopped in here for a quick meal and drinks. I had the Hugo’s Delight and my friend had the smoke house wrap. The bartender was also the waitress and she handled the whole place with ease. I was incredibly impressed. It was pretty busy when we went. Old town Irish pub decor in a historic building. Super charming and authentic.

Great bar on ourskirts of Faneuil Hall. Maura is great. Outstanding service, best Jameson and Ginger in the city and a good Guinness pour. Food is very good as well. Good place to watch games.

Great place for weekday hangouts. Staff was super super friendly and even took care of my drunk friend. Iv never seen that happen anywhere. Good food and nice collection of drinks.

Great selection of beers and the staff is awesome!
Only $16 for a fish sandwich with Dublin fries. The sandwich was so big I thought it was a joke. Had to take a big piece of fish off the roll and eat it separately. Stuff was still falling off the roll in spite of this. Great value in historic Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Definitely check out out.

I had the best shrimp scampi there when they had a great menu. Clarke’s has since gone downhill on the menu.

OMG what a wonderful place to browse for delicious foods. Every location we passed by seemed to be too good to pass up. Glad we stopped by and great location for medium shopping but lots of great eats!

Been craving another one of their burgers ever since I left! Had the mozzarella cheese sticks too – loved it there. The wait staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was ideal for a Boston pub!

Great food, great atmosphere, and the staff was wonderful. A hidden gem in the Quincy Market area… it’s tucked away down an alley off of the main area and not easily visible. Old fashioned pub with bar, and it seemed mostly locals were in there which added to the overall friendly and welcoming experience. I prefer to avoid tourist-y restaurants whenever possible.
