Reviews
Pros:
– The tables are great, definitely live up to the hype.
– The place is clean and well-maintained.
– There are plenty of tables available, so there’s usually no long wait.
– The service is friendly.
– Pricing is reasonable, not as expensive as I expected.
– They provide snooker balls and cues, which is a nice touch.
Cons:
– Unfortunately, they don’t have a full-size snooker table, which might disappoint snooker fans.
– The spacing between tables is a bit tight, making some shots tricky—though this seems to be common in most pool bars.
– The cues could be better maintained or upgraded for a better playing experience.
– It was quite chilly inside, likely due to the glass walls.
– While there’s room for improvement, they’re definitely on the right track.
Overall, this place has a lot to offer, especially if you’re just looking for a fun and clean spot to play. With a few adjustments, it could easily become a go-to destination for pool and snooker fans.
Went there on a a Saturday night around 11 to play pool. Parking is a little tricky, there are lots belonging to Wells Fargo and Verizon right next to it. We parked there and had no issues, your mileage might vary. Music was on full blast and the place was slightly crowded. They take your credit card and keep it, which was weird.
The pool tables are a little too close to each other and there were other drinkers standing near them making it hard to play sometimes. The sticks could be of better quality, we had to hunt around to find a decent one with a good tip. Tables are okay though.
Coming to the pricing, I’d say it’s atrocious considering the quality of the place. Around 75 minutes of playing for two people ended up costing us around $40(only pool). This is easily double that of similar establishments like Carpool nearby. They don’t provide a receipt and you get an online copy only after paying. And they have the audacity to ask for a tip after adding a 20% gratuity.
+Chicken tenders and fries were very good.
+Pool cues provided.
+Not too crowded but I’m hoping more people come to support them!
-They’re strict on time – set a timer when they hand you the balls. It’s $10 per 30 minutes – one minute over and it’s another $10.
-Beer selection is limited.
-The bathroom is dive bar level (they’re still doing work, so I’m guessing it’s on the list of things to work on.
-Patrons seem to be overly casual leaving food crumbs on the felt.
-Pool Cue tips are not great, bring your own cue if you have one.
-Tables are missing sight diamonds.
-Music can be too loud, seems like they’re split between being a club and a pool hall.
Overall great experience and will keep coming back Note there are no snooker tables, pool only. Go down to Duke Street for snooker.
Love the quality of the game pool and love the location of the place, great people too
