Went to Clarence’s Steakhouse last Sunday. Mama and I wanted a corner booth both I went to sat at the corner booth server told us to move to a regular booth. First server was so so so. Our second server awesome . 2 waters in a to go cup food awesome .

Stopped in for a quick dinner during race weekend. Service was excellent and quick. The fries and hush puppies were SO good, but my fried chicken was dry and oily. Nice place though!

It is rare to find such a welcoming atmosphere with such great food. There are lunch specials with a meat entree plus three sides! The servers are attentive and friendly too. We enjoyed our visit.

Clarence’s is a must if you are a race fan attending a NASCAR race at Martinsville Speedway. The staff here is the nicest around and could not be any more welcoming to the area. The food is as southern and local as you can get. The burgers are homemade and the hushpuppies and onion rings are a must try. The prices are amazing as well. All around great local meal from great local people. Will always come back during a race weekend.

The food is great and for theMOST PART the ppl there are nice , I am BLACK and my first experience was TERRIBLE I’m standing in line trying to get my food and pay for it and this white man cuts line and walks right in front of me mind you he sees me but great customer service I wish I knew her name but when she sees this comment she’ll know what I’m talking about ! It’s black history month and the racism still is a daily part on black ppl lives! I will NEVER step foot into that restaurant again I will order from there but I will NEVER that was the WORST RACISM EXPERIENCE EVER ! Love the WORKERS ! Not yalls fault but I felt like I was going to get hung walking into that restaurant! NOT SAFE FOR BLACK PPL !

Went to get a T- Bone and Baked Tater. Had my Heart set on it because someone recommended your restaurant to me. Asked my server if you had Heinz 57 steak sauce. I placed my order and ask the server to bring me a bottle of Heinz 57. He brought two little cups of some sort and I asked what that was and he said Heinz 57. I canceled the order and left disappointed. If you are going to charge $29.00 for a steak, at least have the steak sauce in the original bottle to ensure it is what the customer asked for and not some second rate “ Well it’s just like Heinz 57!”
