Absolutely worst breakfast experience I’ve ever had recommended to me by a couple people would like to go back and slap in for telling me to eat there let’s start with when you go in if you’ve never been there before no one greets you there’s no signs or any indications of where to order food pay for food. I can only find one menu in the whole restaurant and it’s taped to the wall if you look closely at the pictures, you will notice that were the lady is reaching into the silverware tray to get my silverware. There’s two cell phones above it very nasty in the first picture I took she is actually standing there texting on her cell phone. Then turns around with no gloves, no hand wash station do you know sanitizer know nothing reaches into a whole pan of cooked bacon and start serving it on the trays if you look at the sink in the photo, you will find the storing the sugar, behind the dishwasher sink with both My and My Wife’s eggs over medium one of each of them were cooked over well the sausage patties or just frozen sausage patties the fries or just frozen French straight cut fries and frozen tater tots I forgot to make the tater tots in the beginning it was actually six minutes after a meal was served before they were ready they store bread in the dining area they put jam or jelly on your plate whether you want it or not, and then me personally that you have my order of fries into the jelly. It was just a really bad experience altogether. Please do yourself a favor. and never eat at this restaurant.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I came in quickly for breakfast I will return with no hesitation. The owner was nice and approachable. The food was very reasonable for the price and more than enough. There is no need to fight for parking. It is so easy and convenient. What a nice surprise it was to find this hidden casual spot

If you want to eat like a local, you need to try the Claremont Cafe. It is truly a hidden gem here in the Hickory Metro. The outside may not be much to look at, but when you get one of their old-fashioned burgers, it is truly nostalgic. It will bring you right back to your childhood. One thing to take note of, is they only accept cash, so be prepared when going.
