I love this place. Its a fantastic experience a great atmosphere, and the food is great. We had the garlic cheese bread, french fries, and bread sticks, the breadsticks were fantastic, the garlic bread was okay, and the fries were fairly good shoestring fries, we always get the pepperoni feast pizza and its unmatched, the unique crumble of pepperoni they use gives a good spread across the pizza and every now and then you get a good sized chunk which is yummy, ive driven over an hour just to show my friends and family this place. And ive been coming since i was a child. Highly recommend if anything just for the experience and atmosphere.

I order from this Pizza King all the time and they always knock it out of the park. The manager Bobbie is just outstanding and the pizza is the best on earth. When I ordered tonight they even beat themselves. The pizza was here in 24 minutes…hot… delicious and absolutely correct. When I tried to tip the driver he actually said ..don’t worry about it ..I just wanted to make sure I got it to you hot and fast. I mean in an era where they throw back tips in some places if they aren’t “good enough” this man simply refused to take it. You have a great crew there at Clara’s…keep up the great work

Great find! Had visited family in the area and we had the need for pizza – Clara’s came up in the Google search for nearby places. The atmosphere is certainly eye-catching – a trolley car inside with seating, old time items hanging about, stained glass pieces – stunning! We had an attentive server (Tralaina – hope I spelled her name right) – she was very friendly and outgoing, she washed to make sure we had a great experience, even more after we said it was our first time in. We ordered a pizza and the Big Sir sub – both were cooked perfectly and packed with ingredients and flavor.
The only thing that would have been a bit more helpful was their ordering system, when you dine in they want you to use a phone on the table to call back to the kitchen. Honestly, I thought it was a part of the decor but the staff did come by to ask if we had ordered yet and explained the phone at the table. But Tralaina then came by and took our order. Maybe a sign on the way in when sitting down to help new customers of the phone system. But we’ll be back the next time we’re in the area – it’s a great gem!

We met on employee as we were walking into the restaurant it was terrible cold and she had walked a couple blocks to get to work and she was just about frozen you could tell.
We went upstairs, so my nephew’s granddaughter could sit in the swing and we had a wonderful waiter and the lady that we met outside even came in and talked to us and made it feel really welcome. In the pizza was out of this world.

An awesome Indiana pizza tradition. From the double-decker bus seating to phones for calling your order in to the classic Royal Feast, you can’t miss with Richmond’s Pizza Kings. The waitress was nice and quick with service. The place was clean and looks great after 64 years. Restrooms could use a little work but all in all it was a nice lunch stop. Still looking good and tasting good. Ham and cheese sub was tasty.

Very original decor. Has an old fashioned school bus inside the restaurant that you can sit in and enjoy a meal. You call in your order from a dialysis type phone on the table when you’re ready to order. Incredible food especially the pizza and pasta. I love the chicken sub and their bread sticks. Service is excellent.

This place is one of the coolest places I have ever been too. There is a bus inside that you can sit in and eat. The decorations are super cool and vintage. And you order the pizza through a phone at the table.
Now let’s talk about the food. The breadsticks with cheese dip could be a whole meal in itself. They have a buttery, garlicky, delicious topping that makes them top notch! The pizza is one of my favorite pizzas I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot of pizza. I’m from Missouri, but I have family in Richmond. So I don’t get to go often, but when I do, I eat way more than I should!
