Fast and friendly service, even on a busy Friday night. I could tell this was one of the best places in the hall based on the number of people ordering and getting their food. I opted for the Topper with onion petals and it came out picture perfect! The onion petals were battered like white castle onion chips used to be back in the day, and they didn’t disappoint! I can’t wait to come back!

After our “not-so-good” experience with Hachi Machi, we were still hungry and decided to give Clancy’s Hamburgers a try. The atmosphere in the Garage Food Hall is nice and inviting, and Clancy’s fit right in.

We ordered the tenderloin sandwich with fries and two chocolate chip cookies. The tenderloin was seasoned beautifully, with perfectly crunchy breading and a delicious brioche bun. The French fries were outstanding—crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, and seasoned just right.

The cookies, however, weren’t quite what I was expecting; they had a bit of a chemical aftertaste that wasn’t for me.

Overall, though, it was a great experience, and we’ll definitely be back for another meal at Clancy’s.

I’ve visited two other times while visiting Indy. This time I ordered it online to-go as I was coming off the highway into Indy and it was ready for pickup within 10 mins. The food was hot and fresh, no complaints. I ordered the cheeseburger/fry & my boyfriend ordered the chicken sandwich/fry. It was busy inside the Food Hall itself but the pickup process was still easy.

Find the garage was a little more difficult than I would have expected. I really like the environment and how thing were set up. Unfortunately I did not eat there as the area was very populated. No seating was available and many were not following protocols posted. I’m not a fry fan but the fries were well seasoned and good! I got also a cheese burger and chocolate shake, both good but nothing too original in flavor. Kinda was expecting more from shop however I would be willing to try again on a less busy day. The service was really good as the employees were friendly.

The pricing is good the staff was friendly but their hamburgers are dry/overcooked.

The coney dog was amazing. They didn’t provide any napkins.

I asked for my burger with no bun, and add lettuce. I was surprised when I got a lettuce “bun”. Thank you for that. This is why u got a 4 star instead of 3

It’s in the cool/fun “Garage” warehouse area (the old Coca Cola factory) with many many small restaurant kiosks and places for a drink. The prices for Berger’s was very reasonable. This is not a big burger Patty. The burger was pretty small and cooked well, vs medium, but all the rest of the toppings made it a good burger esp for the price.

Clancy’s Topper is a wonderfully unique burger, moreso now that the only other place I’ve had one like it has closed after many years. This is a touch of nostalgia for sometime who grew up when Clancy’s restaurants still existed as a local chain. Do yourself a favor and check them out when you’re at the Garage!

Classic Coney Dog was great as were the fries, but the cheeseburger was super average. Our burger was quite dry and the bun was so thick it’s all you could taste.

Clancy‘s is located in the garage food hall next to the xle bar, look for the red and white decor. You step up, place your order and they crank out your food pretty quick!
The service is fast and friendly! The menu has a lot of options but not in an overbearing my food won’t be fresh type of way.
I went with a burger because I love them, I got the double cheeseburger with ketchup; mustard, mayo, pickles, tomato, and onion. It was hot and fresh plus not super salty, which is a weird thing that I watch out for in burgers. I loved it and polished the whole thing off.
I decided to get a side of fries as well, Fri-yay! So crispy, fresh and seasoned to perfection! I had to try some clanceys dipping sauce which was tangy and perfect!
I’ll have to come back and check out some more items on the menu because if the other food is as tasty as my burger and fries, I’m in for a treat! What a great addition to the garage food hall.

My son wanted to sue them, the cheese burger was so bad.. it seemed to have a black pepper breading. Do not ever order this horrible 1/4 inch thick boiled monstrosity.
