The wait time to get your plate seems a little bit long. I placed your order and it took 16 minutes to get to my table.
After further review and eating ribs and brisket, I give this place a solid 7.1 out of 10 the ribs were OK and the brisket were OK. They could’ve been warmer. The macaroni and cheese was room temperature potato salad was pretty good but for $28 I think you need to provide a little bit better quality food, though wait staff and the ladies working there were marvelous, fantastic family, friendly. I would recommend and I would go back.

Burgers are good. Brisket is absolutely horrible. I asked for lean and got 80% fatty chewy meat. Yall need either better quality brisket or learn how to trim and render the fat out properly. $65 in trash

I went to Clancy’s around 12:15, Sunday, February 8, 2026 to get the buffet to go. There were 2 other ladies in line when I got there. The lady in front of me was also getting the buffet to go. The lady behind the counter assisted her with the to box boxes and after that she walked off and started doing something else. They left me being the only one in line waiting to be assisted at the time. In my opinion I felt at the moment I was being ignored. Another lady that works there that was helping with something else asked me had anyone assisted me yet, I told her no. I saw her walk over to the lady that suppose to be assisting behind the counter and she said something to her. By this time I’m feeling disappointed with the service. She finally made her way back to me to assist me and gave me to go boxes for the buffet. By then a family had come in to dine in. I have been coming to Clancy’s off and on for a while and always enjoy the food but never felt upset until now with the way I was treated. I don’t know why the lady didn’t just say I’ll be with you in a minute instead of just walking off. I feel this is unprofessional and not the way you do customer service. Right now I don’t know if I ever want to come back for the buffet because of this is what I will be dealing with when I come I’ll take my money else where because food is too costly to not get serviced fair.

Great little place! Delicious BBQ brisket sandwich! Huge salads! Yummy homemade ranch and BBQ sauce! Friendly servers. Very cute place! Will definitely be back if we are in the area again. It is right off the interstate and quick service, so a perfect stop!

On our way back from Memphis to Birmingham, we passed by this spot, decided to stop and grab lunch. I had the brisket Philly cheesesteak and it was incredible. The owner/chef came out and spoke with us, his wife seated and served us, then he came out and told us the story of how the place came about and shared his barbecue competition experience. All in all, great food, great people, great time!

Another very nice restaurant to add to my list of favorites as I travel this great nation. The food was great, I had the Baby Back Ribs.. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, they made me feel right at home. Truckers can park across the street at a truck stop, it’s very convenient. I will definitely be back.

Stopped on our way through from Ark to Fla. Easy location to get to right off the interstate. Food was delicious. Just enough smoke, but not overly done. Brisket was tender, pulled pork was perfect with no fat or skin. Fried okra was crispy. Definitely recommend the brisket chili!! Homemade German chocolate cake for dessert! You won’t go wrong stopping here.

Clancy’s advertises a Sunday buffet from 11am to 8pm. When we arrived at 1:40pm and asked for the buffet, the server replied that “We don’t have that anymore”. There were signs everywhere advertising the buffet. What she meant is that the cafe had run out of food and did not intend to replenish. We drove 30 minutes, anticipating a fun adventure with southern cooking. So, husband wanted to stay and we ordered off the board. No okra, one of our choices. Only 1 baked potato left. Let hubby have it. I ordered hamburger steak, turnip greens and slaw, the latter two dishes left uneaten. The hamburger steak was okay, just okay. My husband enjoyed his catfish platter and I agree that the fish was outstanding. The hush puppies were okay. Would have given fewer stars but my husband liked his meal.
