We made a reservation at Clancy’s immediately following our son’s surprise beach proposal. Guiseppe and his staff made sure our night was perfect from beginning to end! He helped us choose the perfect setting within the restaurant, helped us decorate the area, allowed us to be seated earlier than our reservation time and attended to our every need during our party. Our entire party raved that their food was absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back again! Thanks for making our night extra special!

An awesome experience! From the time we were greeted by Giuseppe, the manager to the time we left, it was the perfect date with my wife. The food, service and atmosphere were perfect. Loved the ocean views as well. Prices are certainly reasonable. Can’t wait to go back soon!

Good place to grab a bite on Ocean City boardwalk. I was in the mood for some seafood, so I tried their lobster crab cake and crabocado. Not bad. I would skip on mussels though.

I dined in at Clancy’s just once, and they did it disappoint! The customer service was wonderful, and the atmosphere of the restaurant was very welcoming. We ordered the calamari, the raviolis, and the stuffed flounder. The food was fresh, delicious, and so memorable. We plan to visit again the next time we are in OCNJ!

There’s not much to eat in ocean city so this seems to be okay. At $30 an entree, I expect white table clothes. The clam chowder only had imitation crab meat and was dough. The fisher mans haul had watery tomato pasta though they did have real lump crab meat. It was more pasta than I would have liked. The Mac and cheese was good and they had crayons for my kid. At $30, I expect real butter not plastic butter packets. Calamari is decent.

Love this OC Boardwalk restaurant!
APPS:
Fried calamari app was excellent. Red sauce for dipping was hommade w just enough spice.
Steamed clam app was also excellent, although somewhat small. The red sauce was amazing and we soaked it up with the bread provided. Sauce was also fresh made and more spicy than the calamari dip.
ENTRES:
Chicken parm over linguini was good. Patty was fresh fried and not frozen. Large portion.
Ravioli w cream sauce w crab meat was good. The cheese filled ravioli were not the best, but were cooked perfectly. The crean sauce w crab was excellent.
Southern flounder was specially prepared for our celiac gluten-free guest. It was delicious, cooked perfectly, and the careful attention to dietary needs was cheerfully accomodated.
The service was excellent and everyone from the host, the server, and the bussers were attentive, courteous, and friendly.
Prices were very good. Bill for 4 adults was $122. Appetizers, soft drinks, no alcohol.
Be prepared to wait if you arrive after 5, but it is definately worth the wait.
5 stars!
Definately a good dinner restaurant while in OCNJ.
We were pleasntly surprised to see an earlybird offer. Seatings before 5 pm receive a free soup or salad and beverage. Saves on the wait.

It was good.

Waitstaff were really kind and accommodating when asking for separate checks. We were a party of two, since there was almost no one in the place, we were offered a table for four, which was nice to have more room.

There was a nice variety of dishes on the menu. We went with the fries, children’s Mac and cheese, and the chicken quesadilla.

The Mac and cheese was $7 and it looked nice when it first arrived. The cheese pull was very delicious and fun to do. However, it was bland. It did not taste like there was any seasonings. I also wished they used a different noodle because the sauce did not stay on the noodles very well.

Fries were crispy, crunchy, and soft on the inside. Absolutely fried to perfection.

My friend order the chicken quesadilla and loved it. It came with onion, red and green bell peppers, cheese, and chicken. The sauces with some salsa and sour cream. She thought it was cooked nicely and the flavors come together well.

Over all the meal and service was very nice. I just hope the Mac and cheese wasn’t as bland. But still a nice restaurant!!

Very nice family friendly place. The owner or manger was very nice and checked on us twice to make sure we were ok. The food was delicious and didn’t take very long to come out. 10/10 recommend if you’re in the area.

I really don’t review things usually, but this warranted a review. The bagged potato chips were the best thing on the menu. That’s about all I can say positive. The mussels were tough & rubbery, smelled unnatural, full of sand and had barnacles. The lobster crab cake sandwich was tasteless and the consistency of day old oatmeal. Even the sodas were so flat. Service came to get our order and give us a check that’s all. Really no redeeming qualities. I recommend just not going… 75$ later and now we have an experience to simply laugh about.

We ordered fish tacos, the ahi tuna salad, and a gourmet spin on macaroni and cheese. The view was great and courtyard quietly situated just off the boardwalk. Our server was friendly and attentive.

That said, I typically write a thorough review, but I’ll spend as much time and attention as the “chef” did on these fish tacos. Each taco consisted of a prepackaged flour tortilla wrapped around a single fish stick with some sauce and a little shredded iceberg. They tossed a bag of chips and plastic ramekin of bland pico on the side. I’d honestly be hesitant to serve this from a poolside snack stand…let alone a restaurant. Too many restaurants in the area dedicated to serving quality dishes to return to Clancy’s by the Sea.
