Was delicious food with great service. Wanted a New York Steak, but they only had prime grade ala cart. I didn’t want to spend $60 on a steak and another $20 on the sides…. so I opted for the sea bass! Great decision on my part. Loved it!

My husband and I first time dining in at Claim Jumper. The dinner location was spontaneous we happened to be in the area and crave for Steak so we found Claim Jumper. The service were nice from the hostess to our server Taylor shout out to him he was really accommodating. My husband and I ordered the same Rib Eye Steak his two sides was cream corn & macaroni & cheese, mine was jasmine rice & roasted vegetable. We both enjoyed our Medium Well Ribeye steak perfectly cooked and flavorful we ate all nothing to bring home ( which we usually can’t finish our food if we eat out ) that was perfect portion.

Dinner with coworkers, I’ve eaten at a few of these places. I had grilled salmon with rice and cream corn. The salmon was overcooked for my liking, but good nevertheless. Had a good dinner clean place will come back.

Arrived about 30 minutes before closing and because of this no server greeted me at the front desk, it was if they were trying to avoid me, so I would decide to leave on my own because it was so close to closing. But I was really hungry after a long day of driving and hiking, so I grabbed a menu and sat at the bar and order my mini 6 oz steak, BBQ sauce, wedged salad, and drink. It was all delicious and with military discount everything cost $62, plus tip! So $77 total. High quality food, a bit pricey, comfortable atmosphere, but service was lacking a bit. The bartender, however, gave great service!

We came in on Sunday this last weekend because we were meeting for late lunch/early dinner before going to Bridgeport to see Oppenheimer at the movies. I ordered a clam chowder bowl and the salmon Oscar with sides of jasmine rice. I actually rather liked my meal. But my friend ordered this tuna sandwich with fries on the side, and the fries were bad. They seemed not fresh, like they had been reheated in the microwave. He couldn’t finish his tuna sandwich, just tasted off and bad. Our waitress was ultimately nice and comped the sandwich, and we appreciated that. It’s what bumped this up to two stars from one. But I also had ordered a Diet Coke and it was quite a while before I got it. She seemed to forget about it, and it wasn’t until the main courses arrived and I told the expediter that I hadn’t received my drink. She never really checked on us either once the food came, just kinda left us alone. It wasn’t even very busy when we came in around 2:30 to 3 pm ish. So I dunno if maybe they were short staffed or something. But something went wrong with this place. I remember it being better and a real treat to come to. But this place went downhill. Maybe they got complacent? I’m rather disillusioned by this last dine in. I’m not sure I’ll come back, and I will probably recommend eating somewhere else. I don’t mean badly for the staff here. But I do think they need a reality check: the quality isn’t great anymore, it’s not a very good value, and they have some work to do if they want to turn this place around. Because I’m convinced that, if they don’t do something, it’ll lose business and it will close.

Good cocktails! Solid place to eat in Tualatin. Great place for drinks and appetizers. Meals are ok. 2 adults, 2 kids and drinks about 120 including tip.

We hadn’t been to Claim Jumper since just before Covid. We were very pleased to see that it hasn’t changed much. It seems like there are some new additions to the menu (from what I remember anyway). The staff was friendly and helpful. Our drink orders were delivered to the table promptly. Dinner was very tasty (the grilled shrimps were absolutely amazing). Overall, good experience. Nothing over the top but no complaints. We’ll undoubtedly be back.
