I honestly can’t think of a reason to come here besides the atmosphere and the menu. The service was rude and inattentive. I brought my son here to celebrate his birthday, and the server didn’t make him feel special at all—which was fine, I didn’t expect much. But after our food was served, no one came by to check on us. My steak was clearly medium(I ordered rare), not cooked as ordered. On top of that, we never received a single glass of water the entire time. If it weren’t for my child wanting to come here, I wouldn’t have come, and I won’t be returning.

Claim Jumpers is a tradition on Veterans Day, I make reservations usually around 4pm for an early dinner to avoid the crowd as it gets very busy. Veterans can select a special meal from a select menu and dine for free, guests, and beverages are extra as well as gratuity.
This year I tried the Southern Fried Chicken dinner, it includes a generous portion of batter fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes, and white gravy (sausage?) over both along with steamed carrots and zucchini. The chicken was very moist and flavorful, crunchy on the outside, the potatoes were blended, with small chunks of potatoes that added to the flavor, the gravy was thick and very tasty. The veggies were lightly steamed zucchini and carrots, not soggy although I thought the carrots could have been steamed a little longer as they were rather tough. All in all I thought the meal was delicious! My wife had the Chicken Pot Pie, huge portion, she said it was delicious, we both had to ask for “to go” containers. The service was attentive, but the rush hadn’t started yet. I’m very honored, and grateful to Claim Jumpers as well as other establishments for honoring the military every year. Thank you

Our first time at this restaurant, walking in, we were warmly greeted by a nice young lady who sat us at our seats immediately.
The whole restaurant was extremely clean with a very nice vibe. Our server Amber G. Was quick to introduce herself and take our drink order. She complimented my wife on her outfit and spoke nicely to my 2 young kids. You could immediately tell she was good at her job, and we kinda just knew we were going to have a good experience from there.
Everyone knew exactly what they wanted, except for me. I had a hard time debating whether fish and chips were the option or the handmade pot pie. I asked Amber, and she assured me. I couldn’t go wrong with either dish, but that’s the pot pie from what she heard. Other customers say it was much more filling. It sounded like a win to me.
During our wait, our server stopped by on multiple occasions to check-in and offer refills on our drinks. Other floor staff were moving around, and we appreciated the hustle they had in their step. Both my wife and I spent over fifteen years in the restaurant industry in california. And know quality when we see it.
When our food arrived, we were definitely not disappointed. Everything looked because exactly how you would have imagined. If not better. The food itself was cooked, perfectly smelled amazing, and looked amazing. I really appreciate the level of commitment. Each worker put into their jobs. I would definitely recommend this spot and we’ll definitely be returning.

Always great food and service! Love the smoothies, steak, lobster and more!
A waitress once told me she likes to mix the baked beans and creamed corn together, I know it sounds wild but I decided to try it and now I do it every time!
Such good food, always our first choice for date night, and no issues or side eyes when we have to bring the kids!

The food was absolutely delicious – truly a culinary delight! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and was presented beautifully. The attention to detail in each dish was evident, and I couldn’t have been more impressed.

I also wanted to mention our exceptional service, particularly from Jose M. Jose was our server during our visit, and he was simply fantastic. His attentiveness, friendly demeanor, and knowledge of the menu added to our overall dining pleasure. It’s rare to come across such outstanding service, and Jose truly went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable dining experience.

The Happy Hour menu was sort of scammy. It says $2 off draft beers, and when we got the bill, it was full price. We asked about it, and they said happy hour pricing only applied to the 12oz pours. Uh, okay? It didn’t say that anywhere and we were looking at the happy hour menu when we were ordering so why didn’t they say anything?

Another annoying experience was they charged me extra for the asparagus that came with the dish. Like, hello?? Eventually, I asked why, and they said I ordered extra asparagus, but I didn’t. Look, the world is crazy right now and costs are super high for things but there’s no need to scam your customers.

Aside from all the weird charge inquiries, the asparagus stems were hard. Usually, when you cook this, you trim the hard parts off. Half of spears were inedible. While a few spears tasted uncooked, the other few were burnt to a crisp.

The side of macaroni was disgusting, also. The words “hard” and “dry” should never be used to describe macaroni and cheese.

The only thing they had going for them was the beer. I don’t think I would ever choose to come here again.

We had reservations at 3:45 and there was a huge crowd already eating and a large crowd waiting. We didn’t wait too long but about 20 minutes. Our waiter, Caleb was awesome, very attentive considering he was slammed! The food was very good, tasty, delicious. We both had the salad, turkey, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, dressing, gravy, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie! The staff did a fantastic job serving everyone with great yummy food! This was my second time and we will be back next year!

We really enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner this week at Claim Jumper. This was our first time ever going here and I won’t hesitate to try it again some time. I made reservations back in September and I’m glad I did as it was packed!! As a matter of fact, they were running 30 minutes behind for our 3pm reservation, but I won’t fault them for that as service was excellent after we were seated in the Bar. Our server was excellent, I think his name was Brian, or Bryant?, but even with how busy they were he was still friendly, fast to take our orders, was apologetic that my cocktail was taking so long. But food came out rather quickly, and was nice and hot. I was really pleased with the quality of the dinner and portions were such that leftovers were a given. Much better then some of the higher end restaurants and buffets were have tried in the past.

The atmosphere here was nice and the service was great. We made reservations and got a table easily. The restaurant is a nice size so it can accommodate a lot of people and big groups as well. The atmosphere is nice and relaxing with pretty interior decor. The only negative thing I have to say is my sons pizza was almost burnt and my brothers steak was requested to be medium and came out almost rare. However, once we mentioned this to the staff the asked if we wanted them remade and we declined because it wasn’t that big of a deal but they still removed both items from our bill and offered a free desert. I would definitely recommend this place. Just keep in mind that it’s a little spendy.

I love the variety of food, the atmosphere, and service. I have had dinner here several time with my family and have had a great time. Affordable too! They are also a member of the North Clackamas Chamber of Commerce which shows they support the business community in Clackamas. Highly recommend!
