Very chill atmosphere and vibe. Only thing I didn’t like is there wasn’t much room for you to play pool, we were constantly having to wait for people playing shuffle board or asking people if they can move away from the bar next to the table so we could take out shots. Very poor layout for the games but other than that it’s a decent place.

They claim to close at 2 a.m. but they start telling people to leave at 1:15. So everyone is out at 1:20. Security staff is extremely rude. Bartender is on point tho. No complaints on the bartenders. The sound system sucks.

I had a nice time at cjs really looked like a good bar. Bouncers greeted the group went up to get a drink, one of the bartenders was really rude and just didn’t seem to like his job. (He also kicked out a group of girls. I don’t know what they did, but with this guy it didn’t seem like you’d have to do much) bouncers did their job great other bartenders were very nice and welcoming

Average dive bar with pop music. Patrons are mostly ~20s-early 40s. Ice cream shots are either really good or miss the mark. Not a bad place for getting together with a small or larger group. They only accept cash.

Absolutely great food, . Place was great. The guy below or above me in the reviews, gave it 2 but said he had a really good time. I’ve been here many times since 2011, I go in I eat, I mind my own buisness, I tp 20% no matter what. If you mind your own, there will be absolutely no problems. Guaranteed

Had a great time listening to music and enjoying a few beers. Very friendly place. Didn’t get to try food because kitchen was closed, but the beer was very reasonably priced. I was a bit thrown off by plastic cups instead of glasse . But still had a good time. Can’t wait to try the food.

A Rockford cash only dive bar. Grab a cheap drink, and an ice cream shot and have a good time. Already a mix of crowds, pool, darts, and a good truck or food out of the back. It’s been here forever so if you’re a local you’re most likely not reading this review.
