Ok, so hear me out. This is definitely one of those places were you don’t judge a book by it’s cover. The food was amazing and the portions are just perfect. Staff is on top of their stuff and very polite. I will definitely be returning.

Only negative is the unpaded chairs and tiny bathroom.

CJ’S is an experience as soon as you walk through the doors. You can’t help but notice the colorful drawings all over the walls, portraits of people who have stopped by to enjoy a delicious meal. I love a hole in the wall type restaurant, one that has history that you can feel when you walk through the doors.

Quaint restaurant with amazing food. Had breakfast and food was served hot and fresh. Absolutely would recommend for breakfast. Wheelchair accessibility is limited.

This little hole in the wall was nothing to rave about. We waited about 10 minutes to sit (it was around noon, so of course it was). Once we sat, we waited a few more minutes to order coffee, they don’t have flavored creamer, which isn’t a major complaint, but I wished they did. We watched waitresses walking back and forth a few times and after waiting about 25 minutes we flagged down our waitress only to be rudly told that she had a table before us. A table sat behind us and they were told immediately that there was a table ahead of them. The food was nothing short of a waffle house blueberry. Belgium waffles were super plain. I would have preferred to have some blueberry sauce to drizzle on top. For the wait, the food wasn’t worth it. The restaurant has self drawn portraits for a local artist, but other than that, go to Aunt Katie’s welcome to breakfast instead!!

Came down from Texas to visit and we were looking for a breakfast place. Chose this place since it was close to the Navy base where my son is. We were not disappointed. Service was amazing, food portions were huge and everything was inexpensive. I had the crab cake Benedict. Highly recommend!!!!

I heard about this place and decided to try it since I am always looking for a new place to eat. It was a bit of a drive (30 mins). But well worth it! I ordered my favorite Eggs Benedict. The Hollandaise Sauce was spot on and the yolk was perfection. I am a snob when it comes to Eggs Benedict so for me to say this you know it was delicious. They do have a crab cake version, but I wanted a classic one. It is a little place with a great vibe and the service was friendly and had a hometown feeling. Daily specials like Meatloaf Monday etc.. I definitely recommend giving this place a visit.

Met my Daughter in Pensacola for the weekend and she wanted me to have the chance to experience local cuisine. I will say generous portions and very tasty. The ac cannot compete with the grill and Florida temperature so I’m thankful we were in there for breakfast. It’s a busy place and mostly locals but definitely worth it.

I’ve eaten at this place multiple times never had a problem until this. The sad part is I had already consumed majority of the grits, once I got to the bottom there was a dead fly. I felt so disgusted, they apologized and offered to replace food. But, I’ll never return after finding a fly in my grits. I get upset just thinking about it.
