Great food. Onion soup was perfect and extra cheesy. Wedge salad was awesome. Beef dip was amazing and so was the salmon and prawns. Fries were beyond good.

We love C.J.’s. This is definitely a must when coming to Birch Bay. The seafood is excellent!! The crab cakes, calamari and fish & Chips were amazing! No to mention the apple cobbler for desert was fantastic. Prices were actually really fair based on location and quality of food. I recommend sitting outside because the views are amazing. We will definitely be back next time we are in town this is our #1 spot to eat in Birch Bay.

The views are amazing. Very relaxing and friendly place to enjoy a lunch or dinner. Food was very tasty well prepared and hot. I would recommend if you’re in the Birch Bay Area that you stop in and enjoy a meal. Grab a table outside and take in the ocean sounds. This place has a ton of seating inside from window booths to tables, I believe they even have a separate event space inside for private parties.

We were looking for a place with great burgers and fries that was appropriate for kids. Folks, this place is it. It has a great view of the beach, it has a good vibe (it has different rooms that are decorated sort of different to resemble an actual beach house), and, most importantly, the food is so so good. The french fries were on par with the best french fries I’ve ever had.

We had Fish n Chips and clam chowder. It was top 2 lifetime best! Days later and salivating thinking about it. All three were amazing and especially for their respectable price. It was quiet on our drizzly Feb day… it will not be that way in summer. We will be back. Make time and go there. That is all.

On 10/11/2025 we had a nice birthday party at CJ’s. Megan (sp?) set aside the table in front of the fireplace for our party of 8, and it was perfect! Felt private with the fireplace and home-like decorations, and it was easy to forget we were in a restaurant. The food was great and satisfying, and the service by Megan and the rest of the staff was just right. Kudos to CJ’s for contributing to a very memorable evening!

We love the fish and chips it’s a definite go to. The price seems to vary but without a receipt I can’t say for sure that it wasn’t the same both times we paid cash.
When you dine in you can pick inside or outside seating which is great because it over looks Birch Bay, we dine inside but still had a great view!! Then went and walked along the water after dinner it was fantastic!!

Got the steak burger, super good. One of the few places that you can get a burger and the buns aren’t soaked at the bottom. Atmosphere is great, I beat the daily rush by showing up at 1pm on a Monday. Highly recommend the cranberry mule, absolutely delicious. Servers are awesome, shout out to David he’s a good dude.
Side notes; Calamari here is so light and flakey, cooked perfectly every time- never had chewy calamari here. I’d argue it’s better than Anthony’s or the calamari semiahmoo used to serve. 10/10

This is my go-to restaurant in Birch Bay. Great service, great atmosphere and great food. I had the fish & chips most recently. The cod tasted fresh and the crispy batter was not greasy. The fries were superb. The service, to emphasize, was attentive and professional. I love this place!
