So yummy, staff are amazing, quality food and favorite Turkish place to visit. Support this local. Better than any turkish chain restaurant. If you want the actual turkish food experience, visit this place

I recommend Turkish coffee (strong, using high-quality cup – it keeps your coffee hot constantly). It costs $4.

Yummy! Really really good gyros and shish! Both sit down and to-go cafe atmosphere. Wonderful friendly service. Super yummy hummus. Falafels are tasty! Great apps!

Great local restaurant in downtown Half Moon Bay. We got a few appetizers (falafel, hummus with pita), and then Chicken shish and lamb/beef gyro platters. The platters come with more pita for the hummus. Our kids loved the food which is always a plus. The staff was very nice and helpful with everything. They cleared plates and offered dessert quickly. We also ate Baklava and Turkish coffee, both very good (but small, as per the usual with these items). Overall it is not a super cheap eats spot, but a more affordable date spot than a Steakhouse! Good place where you can sit and enjoy food and chat. It is small so it can feel crowded when people stand in line to order, but such is the case for all small cafes. Recommend if you like Mediterranean food 🙂

Great service and very friendly staff! They put a lot of passion into the restaurant and the experience. Hasan was a welcoming face right as we walked in. Food was tasty and flavorful! Portion sizes were a bit small for the price but food was still very good!

We had chicken shish and adana kabob, lentil soup and falafel. Everything was good. The lentil soup is more like a porridge than the usual thick variety and very colorful. The owners are nice and attentive.

Delicious food, warm welcoming from the owner and his team, and as authentic as it gets with all its flavor and aromas! As someone who’s traveled to the Middle East, it was so much fun to sit at a restaurant in California that serves the real deal!

I visited Ciya Mediterranean Cuisine a couple of weeks ago. I had a really positive experience! Mr. Hasan was exceptional and super hospitable! The food was delicious, the ambience was delightful, and most importantly, the staff was welcoming and friendly. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! 10/10 recommend!

I had a wonderful experience having dinner at Ciya. The food was just amazing (seriously, it’s so good!!), the people were so warm and genuinely happy to serve me and my friends (shoutout to Hasan for being so cheerful and attentive!) and the ambience great. We were 4 people and had the appetizer sampler, Adana Kebab, lamb beef gyro, kunefe, baklava and Turkish coffee. It was delicious! We are definitely coming back whenever we’re in the area.
