Stopped by City Tavern in Carrollton and honestly… it was just okay. The food didn’t offend me, but it sure didn’t impress me either. I had a burger with tater tots and some mozzarella sticks. The mozzarella sticks were fine — I didn’t spit them out or send them back, so I guess that’s something.
I went with the pimento cheese burger. The idea of that is usually a home run — I’ve had some really solid ones before. So I came in with a little expectation… but what I got felt like the kitchen was just going through the motions. It wasn’t bad, it just didn’t have that punch or flavor you hope for. More like, “Yeah, that’s a burger,” and less like, “Man, I’d come back for that.”
Service was okay. Not great, not bad. Just kind of… there. Like the rest of the experience.
I didn’t leave mad. I didn’t leave wowed. I just left — and probably won’t be back. Not because of some terrible moment, but because there are better spots in town that give you a reason to come back. This one didn’t.

Visited Carrollton for the first time with some friends and decided to stop here for dinner. Food was delicious (a few grumblings that a burger was disappointing, salmon on the salad was dry, quesadilla was cold, etc.), service was excellent/very personable, the place has a great atmosphere. Looking forward to coming back and enjoying more!

Enjoyed it. First time going there had the house Burger. Sauce was good. Burger well cooked. The rest of our meal was really good too. And they had Guinness and that is a big bonus. You enjoy it! Give it a shot.

My wife and I went here after the West Georgia football game last Saturday! It was soooo amazing! The buffalo chicken tots were delicious along with our burgers and Philly! Service was great as well! Will definitely be back the next time we’re around the area again!

Last minute find for a place to eat because our original plans fell through for the evening. Pretty decent atmosphere for a downtown college town establishment. Felt safe with the extra security. The waitress with chatty with other customers though so it took a while to get refills and such. Learned not to buy liquor in a college town establishment if you like the finer drink experience. The hamburgers were not amazing and undercooked. The chicken tenders were ok. The chicken wings were probably the most tasteful. I would go back for a side order of tater tots though!!(even though they are probably from freezer to oil to table). Glad to have the experience of this place but not a go to regularly place for me.

If you’re looking for a local, small town place to enjoy a good meal, this is your place. My granddaughter chose this place for her birthday meal and we had a nice meal and great conversation. I highly recommend this place.

This was our fitst time here and in my opinion it’s Crap food, with crap service. Our cheese sticks were cold to the point the cheese wasn’t even melted. I got something called Rich’s sliders for my meal it was literally a grilled cheese with a single chicken finger in it cut into 6 little peices and they charged $12 for it. The fries were disgusting, not sure how you can mess up fries but they managed it. My suggestion would be skip this place altogether unless you’re just wanting to drink. Go a few doors down to The Irish Bread Pub and get amazing food with decent portions.

Love their wings! They’re crispy with the perfect amount of sauce. They were cooked thoroughly, too. I must say, I was impressed. The only regret is I wished I’d ordered more wings.
It was my family’s first experience at this establishment. It was great! The place is very clean, beautifully decorated and trendy. There are TV’s mounted and a bar as well.
I look forward to my next dining experience at this location.
