These people treated us great. We popped in with 8 people in our party and they accommodated us immediately. Our waitress was fantastic and we had a difficult person in the party. She did excellent! Highly recommend this place!

I was looking for a place with a large beer list and they delivered. They had 4 porter/stouts, one which I recognized as superb! Overall, they had over 30 beers on tap.

I had appetizers- clam chowder, Brussels sprouts, and nachos. It was a lot of food even for how hungry I was. It was all very good. I liked the Brussels sprouts best.

Solid 4 stars! We really enjoyed the jambalaya! The 10-Spice Wings … a bit less so.

Friendly service. Vibrant atmosphere.

We had such a fantastic experience at City Tap Bar, all thanks to our amazing server, Alvaro! From the moment we sat down, he was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit.
What really stood out was how thoughtful he was — we were celebrating my boss’s birthday, and Alvaro went above and beyond by finding a birthday candle so we could surprise her properly. It was such a small gesture, but it meant so much and really made the celebration special.
The food and drinks were great, but Alvaro’s outstanding service is what will bring us back. Thank you for making our night memorable

City Tap House Dupont is an absolute gem in the heart of the city! From the moment we arrived, the service stood out—fast, proactive, and genuinely attentive without being intrusive. The food was simply amazing. The dry rub wings were packed with flavor and perfectly crispy, and the pulled pork nachos had an authentic Mexican touch that elevated them far beyond your standard bar fare. Despite its central location, the drink prices were surprisingly reasonable, making it an excellent spot for a night out or casual drinks with friends. My personal highlight was the blood orange cider—refreshing, slightly tangy, and unlike anything I’ve had before. Overall, a fantastic experience that I can’t wait to repeat!

Me and hubby stopped by this place to grab a quick bite. The hummus was good. The wings tasted a bit “old”, but the bbq pulled pork nachos were delicious as well as the elite corn dip. J (our waiter) had to make our drink 3x and once he did bring it back the drinks were mediocre.

Stopped by to eat here after the pride parade. The food was delicious. A little pricey but good. They had a gluten free menu so that’s a plus. I had poke and my partner had the meatloaf. We shared the corn elote dip.

We spent the weekend in D.C. and didn’t find this place until the last day, but I wish we had found it sooner! There were plenty of open tables and also a bar area. I had the pepperoni pizza, and it was delicious. The kids’ pizza is as large as a regular menu pizza. My son and mother had the Mac and cheese, and they enjoyed it, but my son says it was a bit spicy (has pepper jack cheese in it). Definitely give it a try!
