They need better descriptions because the chicharrón tacos and chicken tamales are unbearably spicy but the descriptions don’t tell you this. The rest of the tacos were cold, carne asada was decent. The tortillas may be fresh but served cold and floppy. I’d skip this food truck entirely.

The tortillas are so freaking good. The quesadilla I had was literally the best thing I’ve had while eating takeout in a long time. The prices were great, the service was even better. More convenient than a drive thru too, you can get gas and run in the store then have amazing food waiting on you.

I keep trying to give this place a chance for tacos. They’re just not good. Tastes like nothing, chicken was so dry and the tortillas ripped immediately. I’m not sure how their rating is so high.

When Roberto is there, the food is 5 stars. But if he’s not there, brush up on your Spanish! Because the girls that run it when he’s not there don’t speak much English. So if you need to make any adjustments to an item (no peppers on something or extra cheese, etc.), you can guarantee something won’t come out right. They’re nice and friendly! But that only goes so far when it comes to trying to order food the way you want it lol!

I ordered three burritos and a elote and when we got the food only one burrito was correct and I didn’t even get the elote and everything in the other two burritos were wrong there was just rice and peppers in both of them and I ordered lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream, black beans, and rice so in my experience you shouldn’t order from here

Attitudes..food looked good but failed to tell me there was no dipping sauce for my taco. It comes with and was dry looking. He put my food on the outside of the truck and didn’t say nothing..it’s 96 outside. And he was going to let me sit there and not tell me my food was ready. Got my money back and complains about not getting tips. I see why! And I had never been there and I was accused of stiffing him out a tip. Guess we all look alike in his eyes.

I wish these guys had a restaurant. Their food is amazing. I’ve never had anything bad. Their street corn, mega burrito, and chicken quesadilla are my favorite. I had a guy from work bring in a sandwich from these guys and the smell had everyone asking where it came from. The only thing that keeps me from stopping here almost everyday is that they are cash only.

Finally tried City Taco after driving by it almost every day for the past year +. When I parked at the gas station and got out, the smells coming out of the truck were amazing.
The menu was a little all over the place (placement wise on the truck, not what they offered), but I knew I wanted to start with basic. I got their 2 beef tacos and rice combo for $9 and a tamale. In total it was $12 and some change, which with their tacos being $4 each is not a bad combo.
Tamale….delicious! The masa, without the filling had great flavor and once you got to the chicken…. <(-.-<) ^(-.-)^ >(-.-)> it was a flavor party. The chicken was moist and it was marinaded in what I believe was their tomatillo sauce. It was spicy perfect all around.
The beef tacos were really good as well. Beef wasn’t overpowering and had a nice spice to it. Cheese had a distinct taste, again not overpowering. The lettuce and tomatoes were a crisp addition. Tacos were really solid, not one flavor dominated the experience, which I appreciated and it meshed together really well. Lastly, the rice was a red type rice, delicious, and surprisingly crispy. I am not sure if that was from being in the pot or if they crisped it up on the grill. Either way, it was great.
I hope to stop here again and try more of their menu!
