The pizza was fantastic! We had cheese and pepperoni, but we also tried one of the Indian flavors and were pleasantly surprised – everyone loved it! The gluten free crust was also quite delicious.
The atmosphere is fine; it doesn’t look like there is anyway to dine in, so the atmosphere isn’t really important but it smells delicious when you walk in!

We tried their new Detroit style meat lovers pizza and cheesy breadsticks tonight. The meats were very tasty and combined with their sauce and cheese made for a delicious pizza. The crispy cheese edges add to the delight.
The breadsticks were covered in delicious cheese and came with some good marinara sauce. Big fan of Champ pizza.

We have ordered from Champs 4 times. And it’s time for a review. This pizza is delicious! My wife has found a lot of pizza gives her stomach aches. So we don’t order pizza as much anymore. Lame. But…for whatever reason…this pizza has never done that. The crust is awesome. I do enjoy when they cook it a bit longer. The pepperoni is great. We also have had their cinnamon dessert bread and this place does not skimp on the icing. It’s soooooo good.

It’s a nice product especially the Detroit pizza, but you never know whether you’re gonna get your pizza or not. They say it’s gonna be delivered it doesn’t show up, they say they’re gonna knock and they never knock. Just go and pick it up. You’re more likely to enjoy it.

UPDATE (4 stars): Customer service got back to us! Took a few weeks, but they wanted to make it up to us. They comped us with credit towards another pizza plus, and we look forward to trying again. Have to say I was at the point I no longer had any expectations but then we got emails from them. So…. We shall try again and see! Thanks, Champ!
ORIGINAL POST (3 stars): We had a total bummer of a delivery experience ordering from the King location in Milwaukie, OR. Husband was excited to try it because we got a coupon in the mail for Free breadsticks when you order a Large pizza. He went online to order, but the code didn’t work. Still ordered a large pizza anyway, at 6:06 pm, because we wanted to give it a try, not having had Champ pizza before.
What happened? We didn’t get it until almost 8:30 pm! And there was no communication beforehand (until very close to the actual delivery time) to let us know to expect this. The website said we could expect it to take up to 90 minutes normally.
I understand a shop can get busy, but our order for a single large pizza took almost 2 and a half hours, the discount code failed, and there was no communication to let us know the delivery would take so long. On the up side, my husband thought the pizza itself tasted quite good! But we both felt that 2.5 hours wait is not acceptable.

I decided to try this new pizza restaurant in the neighborhood and was not disappointed!! I ordered a cheese pizza and the Champ Club Salad. The pizza sauce and crust are on point The salad was fresh and yummy too!! It is conveniently located in Milwaukie with lots of parking.

I ordered a pizza through door dash; the photos they had looked amazing, and the pizza was as good as it looked! I wanted a thicker crust and the crust was great, toppings were great and when I picked up my food it was seamless. Very nice person behind the counter and was quick! Will definitely order again.
