This cozy and very homely place right in the heart of Columbia Pike is perfect spot to dine in with your friends and family. Let me start with their Samosa Chaat which was truly so good I devoured it even though I’m not a fan of Samosa Chaat neither Chickpeas. We tried their Chicken Kadhai as our Entrée with Chickpeas and Naan bread as sides. Everything was absolutely delicious. The Garlic bread were so soft and bursting with flavor. The chicken kadhai wasn’t overwhelmed with loads of spices or greasy at all. Everything tasted like home cooked food with lots of love. So simple yet packed with flavor. The place is run by an amazingly sweet family and their hospitality was unmatched. Last but not least their special Chai ( milk tea ) is a must after the meal. Will definitely go back to try their Kabobs which I heard so many good things about! A heartfelt Thanks to the whole team for a wonderful experience. Wish you the very best

The kebab tastes good — the chicken pieces were fairly large and juicy, but it was missing that open-fire / charcoal-grilled flavor. The rice was overcooked and a bit sticky.
The chickpeas were okay, but the sauce wasn’t really to my taste. The vegetables were fresh, and the bread was fresh as well. Overall, a decent meal — good, but not something I’d go out of my way for.

Absolutely loved my experience here! The food was delicious, portions were generous (you definitely won’t leave hungry), and the prices were very reasonable. The peaceful ambiance made it perfect for a relaxed meal, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive — truly going above and beyond. Highly recommend if you’re looking for great food and a warm, welcoming vibe!

I’ve been coming to City Kabob for several years, and it used to be one of my go-to spots. Unfortunately, the quality has declined, especially after the management changed several times. I usually go for their buffet — while it’s often a bit too oily, the taste has generally been good. However, in my last three visits, I noticed they’ve replaced their fresh bread with pre-baked grocery store bread, microwaved and served to customers, which is quite disappointing.
Cleanliness is another concern. The floor and tables are often sticky, and it makes me wonder about the hygiene in the kitchen. I truly hope they can bring back the quality and care they once had, because this place used to be a gem in Arlington.

Great buffet experience. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. For a buffet, I would say they are serving really good food for the price. Great options overall. The gentleman who served us was also very kind and seemed professional. Good luck to the team.

Location is not ideal for sitdown but absolutely worth a visit. We ordered out good to go and it took 5-10 minutes to give it to us. We truly appreciated that the food was flavorful but not salt heavy. My spouse has bad heartburn issues but likes the food so much that he will have his heartburn remedies ready just to enjoy the food. Like can’t eat pizza because of the red sauce heartburn. You know it’s good when you are willing to suffer the consequences.

I almost forgot to leave a review here but I wanted to be sure I did. My mom and I came here after the Chris Brown concert Wednesday night so it was pretty late, definitely after midnight. The employees were kind and our server was very helpful with our questions! The food was delicious, well sized portions and perfectly seasoned! The manager on duty let us know its been under new management I believe a year and a half he said and you can truly tell they care about their food quality and making sure their customers are happy! You don’t see that often anymore and I wanted to be sure to say how great they were. Thank you for the great food and service!

We visited for the Iftar buffet in Arlington and it exceeded expectations. The food was authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine, especially the biryani and butter chicken. They even have space for Maghrib prayer which makes it perfect during Ramadan. Highly recommend this halal restaurant in Arlington.
