For the past couple of months me and my coworkers we have dealt with the lady that answer the phone with her rudeness. Thinking maybe she had bad day. But, Today I try to place order for delivery and the same lady that answered the phone answers so mad As if she was upset we asked for the clarification prices. For the individual meals. We have dealt with the same lady that answers the phone she had been rude to me and my co-workers for the past couple of month we order over the phone. We decided to cancel. Because of her. Food is reasonable and As a customer we are grateful for free delivery. But because of this lady we rather bring business to someone who appreciate customer service. We decided to cancel $60.00 order.

Ordered from this place on uber eats last night… $17 for fried rice (chicken) and $19 for broccoli beef. Worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. All of it was frozen food heated up. Absolute trash. I spent almost $100 total to get $20 worth of food I could get in the frozen food section at a gas station.

Edit**: I appreciate the reply City Dragon. No need to get nasty, my review is meant for customers based on my experience. I would like to come to your establishment one day and see your chefs preparing the food fresh. Because the order I received was not good, and I’ve never seen chicken so pale and previously frozen looking. Rubbery and all, not even cubed, but like little balls of white rubbery chicken. Steak in the beef and broccoli was equally bad, but with more color. Not trying to take digs at your chefs if that’s what they cooked, but it was the worst food I’ve had in a long time. Hopefully I just had a bad experience the other day and it is normally I lot better. I’ll try to come in soon I thank you for the opportunity.

City Dragon left a menu on my front door and offers free delivery. The menu is impressive and has a number of unique dishes. Decided to give them a try. The delivery person was excellent, handing order to me.
Food was exceptional (I chose Mild spice). Portions were large enough for 2 meals which lessened the impact of the prices (avg. ~$18). I’ll be interested to see if the dine in & delivery prices are the same.
Will definitely order again!!!

I hadn’t been here since it stopped being fast casual. That was a surprise. Unfortunately, that means everything is made to order and I didn’t know what it looked like. We got 4 dishes and besides the noodles, the 3 other chicken and seafood dishes were fried which was disappointing. If you like fried Chinese food with sauce, then you’ll like this place.

This parking plaza is so tiny. The area is also sketchy. Street parking is metered along the side street but free along El Cajon Blvd.

We went with the basic standard safe dishes and ordered salt and pepper tofu ($10), salt and pepper chicken wings ($13), and orange chicken with rice ($13.50).

The tofu was lightly breaded and deep fried with soft crispy shell and soft interior. Had chili garlic and scallion toppings that gave it a kick. The salt and pepper wings were jumbo and very crispy with all the flavors. Orange chicken was also well made. Had the tangy sauce.

I think this is one of the better Chinese restaurants that I’ve been to based on these three dishes. It was hot, made to order and fresh. Clean, had seating, it’s just the parking lot that needs a reserved space for pick up.

I ordered through GrubHub but they use their own drivers (which I didn’t know) and they were so fast! The food was super fresh and hot. I ordered the chicken with string beans and the spicy fried mushrooms, both are very tasty. Highly recommend!

The name of this restaurant caught my attention. I like and I love dragons ♥️ in general. I wanted to give this a try based on the dragon reference.

There was no one in the restaurant when we walked in and it gave an appearance that no one pays attention to this place. However, we found out that their pay system was down and that they were only taking orders through their app on online.

We were about to go online and order and low and behold they were back online. Of course, that made all the difference in the world to order our food.

We ordered our food … wonton soup, Singapore noodles, sweet and sour fish. They have a large selection and options to choose from.

However, there’s a feel of a mom and pop shop, small restaurant in a plaza, little or tiny seating area and drinks come in cans or bottled water. Hardly any decorations.

We gave it a try and that’s all that matters. We did enjoy the food and its fairly good.

Happy eating

I really enjoyed my visit to City Dragon. If you are looking for fancy, then keep looking. If you are looking for some good Chinese food at a reasonable price then this is it! They have a small parking lot in front but it’s shared by three small restaurants and a laundromat so you might have to park on the street at lunch time. The place is clean and the menu is large. I ordered black pepper beef off the lunch specials listed on the front counter. It came with white rice but I paid a little extra for fried. It came out quickly, and was hot and fresh. This place is clearly owner operated… A big plus in my book. They told me that they had been open for almost 13 years! Check them out next time you in the El Cajon Blvd area. They are open for lunch and dinner.

By far the most great experience, I got a chance to have a tiny talk with Jennifer who is I’m sure the mother owner of the Son that works there together and they’re so personable and so sweet and they will adjust your food to however the liking that you have The atmosphere seems so quaint family at the same time we could be something that you just wanna dive in and have a quick bite after a bar or before you go to the bar or how is that your evenings going is an amazing place. I will give this a 10 out of 10 I’m gluten-free. I haven’t been into my food yet but I can only imagine just from the smell of it and just from the love that you can tell that they put into the food it’s going to be amazing

I love city dragon because it’s the only place I know that has veggie eggrolls without mushrooms. Please never change your recipe. These are the best veggie eggrolls in all of San Diego. Everything else is phenomenal too – great to get delivered, very fast and very hot.
