My recent visit was one of the most uncomfortable dining experiences I’ve ever had. The behavior of a staff member was completely unprofessional, leaving me feeling humiliated and unwelcome. What should have been a simple afternoon out turned into an upsetting situation that no paying customer should have to endure. Management seriously needs to address staff training and respect for guests if they want people to feel safe coming here.

Ate at City Dog Cantina late Sunday morning. Was so happy they were open that early. Was greeted by Joey who was super friendly and accommodating. He offered a charger for my phone. It was very pleasant to sit outside. The Buffalo Shrimp wrap was so delicious and I enjoyed my tea with honey and lemon. Thank you Joey for going above and beyond. Great customer service an delicious food.

City Dog Cantina is one of my go-to neighborhood bars.
It’s relaxed, casual, and doesn’t try too hard. Good mix of indoor and outdoor seating, TVs for games, and a crowd that actually feels local. Drinks are reasonably priced, the beer selection is solid, and the food consistently delivers — burritos, tacos, and queso are exactly what you want with a few beers. I’ve never been disappointed with what I ordered.
The dog-friendly patio is a big bonus too.
Overall, it’s a dependable Channelside staple with good drinks, solid food, and an easygoing vibe. Exactly what a neighborhood bar should be.

Delicious food. Great vibe and atmosphere. We had their queso dip and burritos and the burrito was one of the best steak burritos I’ve ever had. Service was a little slow but the food makes up for it.

Cute indoor-outdoor spot. We sat indoors at the bar. Nice “yard” (oversized) games to play like Connect4.
I got a dark and stormy and crabcake BLT. Both were great. TVs had the game on. But then…..out bartender-server started vaping, and a shift in the wind brought a lot of cigarette smoke indoors.
Having allergies, Im not a fan. And if you vape, Im not sure how professional it is to do it around customers.
The more she vaped, the less attentive.

Burrito was good size. I chose the steak it was shaved which wasn’t bad just didn’t anticipate it. My waiter was great!!!

I had the Philly steak and cheese, fries. There homemade BBQ sauce, Queso dip, fries. Is the best food that I have ever tasted. This a must have if you are looking great food!!!! They have the great hospitality!!!!
