First off I want to say that I do love to sit down. My husband and I have been going there for about five years. Where are you now? We have enjoyed Crystal very much now her and Rosie were together on the weekends and make a great team. We finally went back this week and there’s a new girl and she is also great. The problem I have is that the last time we went in I guess the secretary was so busy on her computer and phone that she forgot our Orange juice and condiments. When I went to go find her, she was in front of the girls bathroom on my computer and phone and I could not get her attention so I had to go over and pour my own orange juice for my husband and myself and get our own condiments. So right now we will just be going back on the weekends because you will have great service on the weekends and we will also be going back Wednesday through Friday for now. Other than that has been great we love it there. It’s just probably not good to have a secretary and that person also be a server. It does not look very good. Like I said it’s a great place but I don’t want pay for my mail and have to wait on myself. Like I said the other three girls are awesome at their job.

I usually go there Wednesday to have breakfast which is so good. It’s the only place near Longview that has corned beef hash. Both waitresses are great. The place is a hidden gem with about a dozen 4 person tables.

For our first time there, I immediately noticed how clean it was. Our waitress was very Friendly, the coffee was really good which complimented their great breakfast! Especially the grits! I Definitely can’t wait to go back and have another meal there and try something else on the menu.

Exceptionally amazing pancakes made from scratch (I’ve heard)!
My five year old and I have been in a few times and we don’t leave disappointed. The staff and atmosphere give you a warm welcome, almost like home.

The owner Eusebio is a very kind individual. This establishment is a one of a kind. The pancakes are made from scratch & are delicious. The staff is pretty awesome as well. You won’t regret visiting this place. Tell them Rhoda sent you.

We ended up at City Diner after striking out on a couple other places and boy are we glad we did. Everything is made from scratch including their corn beef hash, which is a rare find! I had the corned beef hash skillet and my wife had the chicken fried steak breakfast and both were fantastic! Our server, Rhoda, was super friendly and attentive and everything was hot and fresh. We’ll definitely be back whenever we’re in Longview looking for breakfast!

Best little diner in Longview. The breakfast is always fresh and delicious. Coffee is awesome. Been going here every Sunday for the last 5 years. Service was good. Tea was fresh. Food was out fast it was very good. Fantastic experience! The ambiance was cozy, the service was friendly, and the food was divine. Each dish was a delight, bursting with flavor. Highly recommend if you are looking for good food and a great location. You can not go wrong with this place. You will not be disappointed.

City Diner is a small business but definitely worth a stop. This visit there was one server working and when we arrived she had 8 tables she was waiting on. She was killing it! She was friendly, efficient and staying on top of everyone’s orders. The food was delicious and the portions were great. The restroom was also very clean.

Food was amazing and the quantity was top notch. You definitely won’t leave here with an empty stomach. We ordered two meals for a little over $18 and we were not disappointed. These were 100% some of the best pancakes in the area. I definitely recommend trying City Diner.
