Staff was very friendly! Sadly that’s the ONLY positive remark about this location! Started with the burger… plastic looking and terrible! Grilled chicken I had to spit out of my mouth… Places like this are USUALLY a hidden gem but “City Diner” (not City Grill , sorry) needs to stay hidden! I hate to leave this kind of review! But if I can save 1 person from a horrible meal then that’s what I’ll do. I did give a chance to make it right that’s what the grilled chicken was and I still paid for my meal even though it was horrible…

Perfect as a home town diner should be. Clean and neat, prompt service. Definitely the place to stop for a hearty breakfast with reasonable prices. Our waitress was sweet and cheerful. French toast +corn beef hask, potatoes.

Went for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Place was hopping but we had no wait for a table. Service was phenomenal. In and out rather quickly. Had the pecan waffle(8.99) and husband had the rise and shine special. Alot of food for 6.99. Everything was good.

We were in the area for a soccer game and we’re looking for a local restaurant to eat at afterward and came across City diner. It had excellent ratings and I can see why. She chose the Alfredo while I had a traditional breakfast of eggs and French toast. Both were delicious. The service was great and quick. They have a small outdoor dining area, although it was not open on the day of our visit. We will definitely return if in the area again. The menu has a wide selection and the cost is pretty much equivalent to going to fast food nowadays.

Ate here 2 days in a row while in town for a soccer tournament. Friendly service, great menu. They had the best corned beef hash I’ve had anywhere! Fantastic in the omelette.

Came in this morning for breakfast, I got an 8oz steak ordered medium, and came cooked nearly well done. My side of cottage cheese had hairs in it as did my potatoes. I only ate about two bites of my steak because it was awful and tasted spoiled. My girlfriend got the pecan pancakes and shared my toast. By the time we got home from grocery shopping we were both throwing up the horrible breakfast we had. Which our server gave us the wrong check for in the end and double charged me before refunding the initial payment without so much as a sorry. The flies in the restaurant were gross and off putting to the point where I had to cover my drink with my hand when I wasn’t actively drinking. It’s such a shame to see how this place has gone downhill over the last decade.
