It has been years since we had the opportunity to eat in a diner and what a treat we were about to have. The menu was impressive and full of options for anyone. You could eat here every day for a month and choose something different each time. The décor and cleanliness were in order as we entered. They were busy but that did not delay our prompt seating and service.

We stopped here on our trip home. The atmosphere was nice. The service was great, attentive and friendly. The soups were very good. Mozzarella cheese sticks were only ok. My chicken pasta was good. My wife got the open face Turkey Sandwich which was really good. We would definitely go back there again to try other things if we were in the area. Staff was great.

You must come very hungry or downright starving, there is good food and plenty of it. Something for everyone and unbelievable cakes and pies. Local to Cleveland, TN and Chattanooga, this is the home grown restaurant, and to give you an idea, the tomatoes in the salad taste real!

There was a fly in our food. They brought a replacement after a long wait and then tried to double charge us. Shocking behavior by the management. The waitress was a darling, and we tipped her regardless of the fly in our food. The food was mediocre. Dennys is a better choice for a lot less. Won’t be back.

They have everything imaginable breakfast, sandwiches, soups, salads, Italian, Latino, Greek, seafood, burgers and DESSERTS! If you can’t find something to eat here, something is wrong. The serving sizes are huge. We always have leftovers. Plus, they’re open 24 hours!

When we visited it was pretty slow. The service was great, our server was very friendly and helpful. The food was ok. It wasn’t bad, but certainly wasn’t the best we’ve had. The portion sizes were pretty large though. Of course you can’t go to City Cafe and not get some cake or cheesecake! The cheesecake slices have gotten a little smaller over the years, but they tasted amazing as always. So many different choices and so far they’ve all been great.

I would’ve done 5 stars all around if I hadn’t had an issue with one piece of my food. I won’t go into details. I didn’t say anything then, I won’t now. I just pushed it aside. Everything else was great. Our waitress was great and very attentive. I had breakfast there but did take something home. It was amazing!

On our trip we stopped here for Dinner and again for Breakfast. Very diverse selection of meals. Anything we tried was delicious and portions were big. All the staff was amazing and super friendly. Will have to come back on another trip to the area to try some of their huge cake selection.
