I visited here for the first time on a certain day in September 2025.
I ordered a new menu “FRANK’S REDHOT CHRISPY CHICKEN MAC BOWL” and two ST. LOUIS RIBS.
They were so good and volumy.
I was not able to eat all of them.
The staff was very kind and helpful.
The inside of the restaurant was interesting.

One of our favorite places to eat. Food is fantastic the environment is great with the blues playing while there. And a special mention about Brennon, the store manager, hes really on top of his customer service. Such a friendly and helpful guy. Look forward to seeing him every time we’re there. And thanks for bringing back the fresh cut fries. Nothing compares anywhere else.

I like the way they sell ribs by the bone instead of just a half rack or full rack. I added two bones to my buffalo chicken dip with tortilla chips. That was a good little combo.

Definitely recommend. We are coming from out of town and this place caught are eyes. Very glad we chose to come because food and customer service was 10/10!!! We will definitely be coming back.

I ordered a slab of ribs, mac and cheese, and collard greens. BBQ is my favorite food, so I am very picky about it. Here, the meat was tender and it had good flavor. The sides were surprisingly tasty and the free Texas toast was nice. I will definitely come back and I also feel comfortable trying other locations of this chain.

I asked the cashier what was the biggest seller. He said the pulled pork sandwich was the best seller and his personal favorite (fyi…the Lolo is the same sandwich plus coleslaw). I asked his favorite sauce, and he said he liked the house sauce. I went with his recommendation and was pleased I did. There was plenty of meat on the sandwich, and the pulled pork was juicy and abundant. I also added some of the spicy sauce, and that was delicious, too. A good call all the way around. I will definitely go back the next time I am in the area. Also, if you download the app, they give you $5 off your first order. Lunch was fab and under $4. Hard to beat.

Consistency is key for me. Any restaurant can have a good night or a bad night but every single time we get food here it is ! Meats are tender and have great flavor-online orders always exactly right! We love the turkey-pulled pork & brisket!! Wings also great. Kind & helpful staff. Best bbq in Lafayette!!

Not sure if portioning is a thing here, but good lord, the brisket can be measured in centimeters… see pic. One regular slice, 2 tiny and 2 straight up fat. Flavor was good but good thing we ordered wings.

I recently had the opportunity to have lunch with a close friend at your location. I wasn’t sure what to eat, so I asked store manager Tanya for a suggestion. She asked me a couple questions about my food preferences and suggested the “Cowbell.”
Wow! Great sandwich! Sides were also a show stopper. Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Bathrooms were clean and it was an overall pleasant visit for my friend and I. We will be back.

We received our order very quickly despite it being Father’s Day and super busy. The employees were all friendly and courteous, and made sure a slight mistake in our order was corrected very quickly. I wish they had nametags so I could specifically congratulate them here.
The food here is wonderful! They have super tender, well seasoned brisket that I’d definitely recommend, and the pulled pork was good as well. The hush puppies were really amazing and one of the highlights of our visit, but the fries could do with a bit more seasoning. I sampled the ribs and they tasted delicious. The side salad was decent. The portions were great for the price.
Overall, I would definitely recommend City Barbeque and will definitely return.
