Ordered online – their website is glitchy. It looked like it didn’t subtract my gift card, but upon arrival to pickup the food, the service was great and they were able to troubleshoot quickly. I carried out 1 lb of pulled pork and 1/2 lb of brisket for a dinner with friends. Absolutely tender and delicious. BBQ is something that travels well – I definitely recommend it. We added Costco Panera Mac n cheese and threw together a salad to accompany the meat.

We cannot recommend City BBQ enough—they were the ideal caterer for our wedding! Not only do they provide many different options to accommodate various budgets, but their service made the day incredibly easy. We opted for the package that included delivery, setup, and disposables, and they executed it flawlessly. The process of choosing our menu was simple thanks to their complimentary take-home tasting. On the big day, they were completely dependable and on time. Most importantly? Our guests loved the food! We highly recommend City BBQ to any couple looking for great taste and great value.

City BBQ in Castleton – what can I say! Very clean restaurant, good food, and very personable and kind staff. This restaurant is veteran friendly, and the employee at the counter, Joe, is an exceptional employee who represents the restaurant and brand very well. He went out of his way to engage customers and make them feel welcome and seen.

We tried City Barbeque for the first time and had a great experience. We ordered a variety of items including the samplers, ribs, beef brisket, and sausage—and everything was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The ribs were tender, the brisket was juicy and smoky, and the sausage had a nice kick. The portions were generous and the sides complemented the meats really well.
What stood out just as much as the food was their customer service—friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment we walked in. They took the time to explain the menu and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal.
Overall, it was a great first visit and we’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend if you’re craving good BBQ and a friendly atmosphere!

Good, fast, friendly service. Delicious st louis ribs, fell off the bone pretty easy. Plenty of different sauce options in the restaurant. Good fried pickles. Great brisket sandwich.

Worst coleslaw i’ve ever had Why is it so sour? Is it bad? Am I going to get sick? I threw it away. Four small pieces of brisket, what a rip off. Portion size is very small. I try calling the store twice but no one answers the phone.

Took my kiddos here to celebrate my birthday the other night and it was the most pleasant experience. Fast and efficient service as well as a warm welcoming atmosphere complimented by the polite staff. Must say the drive thru option was a fun shock to see as I don’t think I’ve been to another location with one before.

We went to city bbq to pick up the free anniversary dessert for me and my husband yesterday. While we were there we decided to order a pound of brisket. Mind you we live about 30 mins from this location in traffic and boy there was traffic. We made it home and decided to eat some of this brisket. It was dry and cut into big chunky slices. When I say dry the meat expanded in my mouth while chewing and I had a hard time swallowing said meat. This brisket coast me and my husband a little over $30 with tax. I called up there, told them my issue and was told to come back up there to have it resolved. After driving back up there with the dry brisket they agreed to replace it and offered me another free dessert. I accepted the free dessert (peech cobbler) because now I had used a quarter of a tank of gas to get some brisket. They brought the brisket without a lid so I could see the product before I left this time. I tried it and it was tough to say the least. When I mentioned it was not what I thought I was spending my $30 on. I asked if they had cooked it improperly. The manager said that she was not there the night before so she was not sure. That if she would have cooked it then it would have been made correctly. That it really depends on who is cooking it. Then added that they had recently changed their spices and the way they distribute the meat. The young man cutting the brisket then decided that maybe I just wanted fattier pieces so he made up another pound. I felt aweful because I had just touched all over that second pound. The manager said its fine and I tasted it in front of her. Something tasted off but I didnt say anything. At this point I just wanted to accept the fact that purchasing this brisket was a terrible idea. The manger did end up giving us both pounds. That is why it is so hard for me to write this review. She was so nice, helpful, and generous. We got home and I am so glad the cobbler was free as it was burnt all to heaven. But the brisket that flavor was the fat. It had gone rancid. It was the taste of rancid beef and I didnt know till I had a huge bite of mostly fat. I do belive it was the only part of the brisket that had gone bad. The meat seemed to be fine. Unfortunately it was surrounded by rancid tasting fat. I am upset with the quality of the product but the service was top notch.
