This location is impressive! The restaurant is overall really clean and the food smells great, making for a wonderful first impression. The workers were very nice and knowledgeable, and demonstrated real kindness by offering our son a free dessert. We ordered a party pack, and despite the size, it was ready quickly. Everyone was very helpful. We haven’t tried the food yet, but the service and efficiency alone guarantee a great experience!

Overall, this location was pretty good. The service had a couple of inexperienced young employees, but the friendliness outweighed this. The ribs had very little meat (mostly bone and gristle) and were dry. The beans had a little too much heat/sauce. (Possibly just this batch) If it was supposed to be that over the top with heat, it should maybe be notated. This is the second City BBQ if had, and they are not consistent.

The oil for fried item must have been old there was an aftertaste.. we threw away hushpuppies. The Mac and cheese was also mot good. The brisket was very fatty. Meal was quick which was appreciated since we were on a long drive but the 60.00 we spent was too much considering the quality. We have eaten at Mission BBQ which is the same concept but this food was much worse.

The food was sad. The barbecue sauce was lacking flavor. We were asked if we wanted coleslaw on the sausage, we said we did want coleslaw. The coleslaw was missing. The baked beans were watery. The greens were undercooked and the pork was dry. There wasn’t any hot sauce available.
The beverages were Pepsi products, which just makes us want to cry.
The music was too loud. The chairs were like sitting in wooden school chairs.
Overall, it’s probably as good as it can be, being a chain restaurant.

We had a great experience ordering at this location. The workers were very nice and knowledgeable. One of them even offered our son a free dessert which was very kind. The restaurant is overall really clean and the food smells great! I have not eaten the food at the time of this review but I can update it once I do. We ordered a party pack and it was ready quickly for the amount of food! Everyone was very helpful.

I stopped here on a road trip, and I can’t express enough how much love and care they put into their food. I ordered the chicken, the brisket, and the peach cobbler—which I have to say was absolutely top-notch—along with a chocolate cake. The hospitality here is amazing, and the food is even better. I highly recommend this spot to anyone, whether you’re a local or just passing through. This is a must-visit! 10/10, I will definitely be back.

Convenient off the interstate on our way down to southern Indiana. Pretty decent food — I got a 3-side plate with corn pudding (delicious), mac and cheese, and hush puppies. Food was prepared quickly and came out hot and fresh.
