First time visiting this chain. Honestly it was pretty damn good! I ordered the “Not a Sloppy Joe” sandwich with potato salad and cornbread. The staff were super nice and friendly and even gave me a few extra samples to try their different offerings since it was my first time. Really impressed with the value as well. Prices were fair (compared to bbq I get at home). I’ll definitely be back! (and not just because they welcome positive reviews, the food and experience was genuinely good)

Bailey checked us out and really helped us pick out what we needed! The store was clean and service was fast andria had our bag ready in seconds with a smile! Parking was easy to get in and out of I do recommend this location!

There was not a lot of flavor going on with the brisket or the ribs (below subpar product) but they were temp checked very well although the brisket was too thin and dry. I had to heavely sauce everything unfortunately. Just a little note don’t buy the single bone ribs just because they are cheaper you will get the short end of the ribs (very dry because they are thinner, brisket was dry as well) use rib tips for single ribs CITY BARBECUE and not the short end and upcharge for the meater and moist ribs people will gladly pay for them, sales are based off how much serotonin (happy chemical) your customers get from your product, the happier they are, the more they buy. I’m sorry but I don’t want your product anymore if this is what your selling.

Let me start by saying the management here is amazing! Super nice gentleman could tell we had never been there was was very patient and helpful. Gave us a tray of samples with our order so we got to try a lot of the house favorite sides! Food was delicious. I had the nachos with pulled chicken. Wife had an amazing salad. Sweet tea was good and sweet! Perfect experience!!

This place is so pleasant, and the food is really great! Plus the food was ready quickly and wasn’t expensive. I also appreciate that most of the foods came wrapped in paper or cardboard.
I had some heavenly cornbread. I would’ve liked a little more cheese in the mac, but it was still yummy and had fun noodles.
My partner got the Dirty Bird and said it’s “the best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had.” The pickles are great, too!

The ribs and brisket here are amazing! So delicious and they fall apart and melt! The atmosphere is arm and inviting, and the staff have always been pleasant anytime we go.

My mother and I shared a 2 meat platter with green beans and corn casserole. Casserole we good but not sweet like it usually tastes. We came around 3:00 on a Wednesday. Almost had the place to ourself. Love the funny signs in the restrooms. Very cute. The restrooms were clean and was the whole restaurant.

City BBQ is a great place for tasty, slow-smoked barbecue. The meat is tender and full of flavor, especially the brisket and pulled pork. The sides are just as good the mac and cheese and baked beans are favorites.
