Will I come back when I’m in the area, sure! I like the portions and the place has character. Was I wowed, no. The brisket was dry and sausage was basic. The fixins were bland too, as if the food was made by a choice of a business committee where it just was as easy to get the food from a local Kroger and enjoy it the same.

We had a perfect lunch for 12! We had the outdoor seating area to ourselves which was a nice bonus. The pulled pork, brisket, and baked beans were all fantastic. The service was super quick and the staff was great.

Excellent. Delicious food, appealing atmosphere, helpful staff, and brilliant service at this location. Liked that they had several different flavors of BBQ to help yourself to. Also, shout out to the employee that gave us a banana pudding dessert since he found out this was our first visit & we came all the way from Wisconsin. We WILL be back!!!

I really wanted a Nashville hot chicken sandwich so I ordered one for take out, along with greens and peach cobbler. The sandwich was pretty good, maybe a little dry. The greens had a good flavor, but there were a bunch of stems that could not be eaten. The cobbler tasted good, but it was mostly dough, hard corner pieces, and very little fruit.

We always eat here when in town. Just wish we had one back home. We always get the family special with 1lb of BBQ, 4 buns, 2 large sides and cornbread. We love everything except for the cornbread. I’m guessing it’s popular with others but none of us like it. But hey, it’s a freebie and we like everything else still.

4th of July ribs we couldn’t even eat we fed them to the dog because they like jerk on a bone. Greens were under cooked full of stems and it put a damper on our holiday. I went to open the door because I got tired of waiting in the car and a guy rushed over to lock the door in my face it was close to closing but not time to lock the doors. I had to keep knocking to get him to listen that I had already paid and to ask for my order. I couldn’t call them or take it back so I was stuck with the bill for food for a family we couldn’t eat. Being fair I had brisket, corn casserole and greens the week prior that was good but that last experience was definitely a turn off. I would suggest not going on a holiday.
