I’m from Kansas City and I’m not afraid to say I know good BBQ. So here I am in Cleveland thinking there’s no way this will be good. Well I was impressed! The pulled pork was some of the best I’ve had anywhere. The brisket was sliced thick and they leave the point and flat together so it stays moist and tender. Add in fresh cut fries and the fact the owner came out some free desserts this place is a 10. Can’t wait to get back to Cleveland and City BBQ!

Service was great. Food is absolutely horrible and I’m not referring to the quality of the food but how it was prepared. Using gas and wood to smoke food is probably the worst combination you could have. You will never have an authentic tasting bbq using gas. If you go there to eat and you like it , then good for you. To each his own as I always say but just not my cup of tea.

I have been absent from this restaurant and decided to return for a change. Order a rack of ribs, mac&cheese, Cole slaw, and green beans. The ribs and sides were excellent! Service was great, with a familiar staff from my last visit.

Ordered the Judges sampler and extra sides thru a third party delivery service. Our order was complete and nicely packed. Everything was delicious. I can confirm after reading another review saying the same thing that someone is indeed a bit heavy handed with the salt in the collard greens. The brisket was absolutely delicious as were the hush puppies. The chicken breast was moist which can be difficult to achieve but they were spot on with our order. I’d definitely go back.

This was the first time I ate at City Barbeque. As soon as I stepped out of the car I could smell the wood smoke! It was very clean inside and service was quick. I ordered the Chipotle sandwich. Very good, it was spicy and sweet. I ordered coleslaw for a side. It complimented the sandwich. Overall great first visit.

Ordered so.ethi g called judges special. Brisket was dry and chewy. Ribs were tough and pulled pork was dry as well. 2 sides were macaroni and cheese which was dry and flavorless. Collard greens were flavorful but way too salty. Very dissatisfied with all of it. I will never order again. Management did reach out to me to apologize which I appreciated

Poor quantity for the price. The beef brisket sandwich was very fatty. I ended up tossing it out the window. The pulled pork sandwich was better. However for the amount I paid I was expecting a lot more meat. The atmosphere was very get your food and go type.

Tried this place for lunch since I love bbq and it was new right by my work. Price is pretty high, but everything is right now. Atmosphere is great, service is great….but the most important thing isn’t, the food. Bland food, no smoke flavor whatsoever. Meat was very dry and had very little flavor. Got a side of cornbread which was probably the best thing I ate which wasn’t very good either. I wanted it to be a good review but in my opinion this place is a no return. Try at your discretion, not on my recommendation

Very clean. Great service. Brisket, turkey, pulled pork, & sausage were moist & delicious but the macaroni & cheese was dry. Corn pudding was as good as mine-a little on the sweet side. Great assortment of sauces. We will definitely go back.
