Wow. We were really impressed with this City Bbq location on Henderson. We got the Motherload platter for six of us, and everything was outstanding! We left there stuffed. The service was great too. The staff were so kind, respectful and attentive. It’s a smaller and more intimate space compare to the others, but that what we appreciated.
Our favorites were the brisket, hush puppies, green beans, and the mac and cheese.

No brisket what we were excited to try most.
Tea was not good for what you expect from a bbq joint.
Chicken was bloody. No forks or knives just spoons, napkins empty at table

City BBQ is hands down, one of my favorite places in Columbus to get food. When I came in for lunch today, Keven was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. Every time I walk into a City BBQ I know I’m getting quality food served by quality people. The prices are also very respectable. For the price you spend, the quality is unmatched compared to anything else around. I have never had a bad experience here and i have been coming in to eat for years. I would highly recommend this establishment.

The prices were unbelievably reasonable, making it a total steal for the quality they deliver. The dining area was inviting and well-kept, with a comfortable, relaxed vibe that made sitting down to enjoy the meal even more enjoyable.

City Barbeque was an absolute hit for my entire family. Every dish that hit the table connected with somebody’s taste buds — from the sides to the smoked meats. The staff was hospitable, welcoming, and just genuinely cool, which made the experience even better. And the meat? Incredibly tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. Major kudos to the whole team — we’ll definitely be back!

This BBQ is fantastic. I had a three meat samples. The ribs were so tender and delicious. The brisket was also top notch. The Texas sausage was good too. Lastly I had the baked beans with brisket, and were some of the best I’ve ever tasted. I’ve only been here one time, and I will be returning for sure.
