We ordered pulled pork and paid extra for the beef brisket. In terms of bbq meats, I think they are ok, not the best I had but decent. However they do have good sides compared to other places. We especially like the corn pudding.

General Manager Rick helped me choose a plate that offered a little bit of everything. He was so helpfull and nice and even let me try some of their sides so I could pick two that I liked. I highly recommend stopping here; the brisket and pulled pork were fantastic! The potato salad is absolutely delicious. The next time I’m in town, I’ll definitely be stopping by again.

We really enjoyed our time at City Barbeque! We dined inside. You look at the menu, order, and find a seat. They call you when your order is ready. We went around 4:00 pm and it wasn’t busy at all. At least 5 or 6 barbeque sauces to try! Portion sizes were good!

The brisket cowbell with the bama sauce is the best. I never liked horsey sauce until trying it here. The sweet tea is very good, as well. I like almost all the food there, but that’s my favorite.

I typically go to the location on Richmond Road. I went to this location for lunch and ordered ahead. The food was ready at the quoted time but was not greeted by staff. The hush puppies were delicious and on brand. However, I could not eat the wings. I had two and that is all I could stomach. The salt level was well beyond what I could handle. Even the BBQ sauce could not mask the level of salt.

Menu was a bit overwhelming at first but glad they had a “star” for city favorites…I think you can’t go wrong with star choices. The wife”s brisquet was extremely tender and moist….What shocked me most was collard greens on the menu…..felt like I was back in the south…..oh wait I am!

Had City Barbeque carter our wedding on 10/11/2025 and it was incredible! Food was amazing and plentiful. Had plenty of leftovers for me and my husband to take home. Antonia helped us plan everything with the food and we couldn’t recommend her enough to plan your big days meal! Service was fantastic at our wedding as well! Highly recommend and worth every penny we spent as we got a bunch of compliments on the food!

Placed in order online, which was super easy. Arrived a little early and just had to wait just about 5 minutes or so.. The lady who took care of me was Melinda (Mckenzie) she had a smile on her face , great attitude , extremely polite , extremely helpful and not to mention this was during the hustle and bustle of lunch. She definitely has great customer service skills. I will be returning very soon. Having great people like this at the front counter along with great food makes you want to come back. Haven’t had that type of treatment for a long time. It’s nice to know that there are still people who enjoy what they do.
