The service here was awful . The girl that attended my table was VERY rude disrespectful. She came to the table and acted as if we were bothering her by walking in to dine. She brought the order left never came back, I had asked for comida corrida 30 minutes went by and she never came back to check or bring me my flautas. . She was was nowhere to be found, I couldn’t leave as I needed my food and pay for my order. After a while I decided to go up to the register to pay and guess who I saw outside on her phone this rude disrespectful lady. Not sure if she is the owner as she acted like she had the attitude and not willing to provide decent customer service. I hope this gets addressed, we go there to eat not to be treated poorly , we should feel valued as we are choosing your restaurant over others , sadly this will be my last time at this place due to her treatment and service provided . NOT RECOMMENDED

We ate here for the first time. It was busy. We sat right away. Service was fast and friendly. My husband ate the 7 seas soup which had a medley of octopus, shrimp, clams, oysters & fish in a vegetable broth served with white rice and butter bread. He said it was bland but he put the salsa in it that was for the chips and it was better. He also had the Tripitas Tacos which he said was fine. I ordered the ground beef nachos which were delicious but there were so much that I could only eat s quarter of them. The salsa for the chips was extremely spicy so if you like it hot, it definitely is!

Do not support this family of thieves ⛔. I brought my Chevy Suburban to Luis Marquez at Xpress Body Repair for an engine swap (Brenda Marquez, his wife I believe, is listed as the owner of Ciro’s). Luis told me the engine from my other truck, a Cadillac Escalade, was compatible. After having both trucks in his possession, I was told the Cadillac Escalade engine wasn’t compatible. Luis recommended me to a guy in the back of his shop, Chino (whose real name is Antonio), for a motor. Antonio agreed to exchange the Cadillac Escalade transmission for a working 5.3 motor. However, the engine from Chino was no good, so Luis had him work on it at the shop. I was given the runaround for 5 months, excuse after excuse. Luis even threatened to keep both my trucks with made-up storage fees when I questioned his integrity. Luis wouldn’t let me retrieve the Cadillac Escalade until the job on the Chevy Suburban was done. The day I picked up the Chevy Suburban, I talked to Luis about getting the Cadillac Escalade towed home. Luis told me he couldn’t find the motor and to give him a few days. They also broke the door handle on the driver’s side and replaced it with one of a completely different color, also left wires exposed on the bottom of the truck. On the way home, I received a call from Antonio demanding payment for having to work on the defective motor he gave me. I told him he needed to talk to Luis about it because I had already paid the agreed upon price for the job (2,500). Now, Luis at Xpress Body Repair is telling me that Antonio took my 6.0 Vortec Cadillac Escalade motor without my permission as payment. Xpress Body Repair never reached out to me to confirm Antonio had permission to take the motor. Xpress Body Repair refuses to take accountability when both trucks were in their care. According to Luis, I need to talk to Antonio about it because I made the deal with him. However, the motor was never part of any deal, and he knows this. The police considered it a civil matter due to the ‘he said, she said’ situation. They advised me to file a complaint with the Justice of the Peace for deceptive business practices. I will also file complaints with the BBB and the Attorney General. I posted a more detailed review on Google.

***Customers beware of the shady 15% non-disclosed gratuity for family platters! ***

You’re gonna charge me a 15% gratuity, because I decide to be a customer of yours and buy a gordita family platter!???

What makes it shady is that you don’t disclose that over the phone nor do you have that disclosed on your menu!

I only gave you that little bit of business since the food wasn’t for me. I was buying the food for some very nice healthcare workers nearby and I had no time to search for another restaurant, close by, that offers a family platter, & make the food in a reasonable amount of time.

This is the SECOND time I’ve had an issue with your restaurant. And now I know why she was hesitant on removing another platter that I was going to add to the order – that would have been an amazing tip for her!

Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!

It’s ridiculous. I’m never going back. I hope that waitress enjoys that $4.37. It may not be her fault since managment seems to think its OK to not tell their customers what to expect.

The ONLY reason I paid attention to that receipt total is that I usually tip on pick up orders, so I had to take back what I planned on giving her. Call me tacky, but also amake sure you call out the shadiness of this whole transaction in the same breath.

Ciros’s is a classic El Paso landmark restaurant. BYOB available at this location. Flautas is the classic plate. I had their Tortilla Soup small. The Small is very well served. Keep up the great work Ciro’s

Let’s get the good goods put on the table first…

Food:
The Chile rellenos was oozing with cheese and flavorful green Chile. The steak was seasoned just right & the beans had a creamy taste. The salsa was boasting with flavors that’ll keep you dipping. GET THEIR HORCHATA!
Why a 4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️? The tostadas were mildly stale & the rice doesn’t hold a candle to my family’s. Also the enchilada wasn’t my favorite. Not to worry my cheese lovers, I did not let the cheese go to waste.

Service:
It’s not enthusiastic. I was checked on a couple minutes after my meal was served, but never checked on again when I wanted a refill on my drink. Business picked up shortly after i got my meal, so i understand.
I was impressed with how well the servers memorized orders and I didn’t notice any returned or wrong orders expressed. I also think they do a good job with team work between the 2 servers that were there.

Atmosphere:
As soon as I walked in, the jams were a hit. Mostly classic hits. It’s a restaurant you’ll easily find comfort dining alone: there were as many solo diners as there were groupings enjoying the Ciro’s atmosphere.

NOTE: Take cash to avoid 3% charge for card transactions & don’t forget to tip for your service

Caldo de res smelled really bad. Staff there is very unprofessional…it was more of a hang out spot for them. Waited 30 min for flautas while they were just chit chatting away. I do jot recommend…its not like what it used to be.

Literally everything wrong. Ordered for delivery:
Paid extra for flour tortillas and all I got was corn.
Ordered queso fundido with chorizo and what I got was melares cheese what spilt all over the other items and no chorizo (which I got charged for)
Fries were still frozen. Not cold, actually frozen
Tacos are dry, no lime was included and I asked for salsa and got nothing.
