I preordered through the Slice app at 4:20 pm for a 5:00 pm pickup. When I arrived at 5:00, I was told my order had not even been started due to an issue with Slice. The restaurant said Slice had called them about the order before I arrived, and Slice later told me Ciro’s didn’t confirm the order on their end, which was part of the problem.
What made it worse was the attitude at the counter. The young woman at the front was rude and dismissive and told me to “take it up with Slice,” instead of offering a simple apology or showing any urgency to fix the situation.
I was quoted an additional 20 minutes, but ended up waiting almost 50 minutes past my pickup time. And then the part that honestly makes no sense: the food was cold when I finally received it. How is food cold after I’ve been standing there waiting because of an order mistake? Did it get made and then sit there? Was it made earlier and never brought out? If you know a customer has been waiting because of an error, the bare minimum is serving the food fresh and hot.
To top it off, my order contained onions, despite clearly requesting no onions due to an allergy. That is a food safety issue, not a preference.
Between the lack of communication, the rude front counter interaction, the excessive wait, cold food, and the allergy mistake, this experience was unacceptable. I won’t be returning.
Ps, your food isn’t worth waiting that long and thanks for making me wait that long in your dirty, smelly, outdated “restaurant.”

Coming from a Jersey girl, their dough is amazing! Due to a power outage, I was unable to heat up my leftover calzone, but I really wanted to eat it. Much to my surprise, the dough was just as soft and tasty as it was fresh. Will definitely come here when I visit Galax again.

Moved back recently after living years in the Northeast… I’d have to say I had better pizza in public high school (iykyk). Mostly bread with the smallest amount of cheese/toppings I’ve ever seen on a pizza. I’ve had better frozen garlic bread. Wings were ok. Probably will never go back. 9/30

No soap or paper towels in the men’s bathroom, which begs the question how the cooks wash their hands… the salad was brown and nasty, I’m shocked they saw fit ti serve it, and my sandwich, although very good took a very long time to come out compared to others who ordered after. The wait staff was very polite though.

I like humble looking, nothing fancy but good food restaurants… and that is Ciro’s. My friend loked gis fettuccine Alfredo and I had a type of manicotti. . The sauce was flavorful but not acid and had a nice little salad. I was traveling…so wont return i thunk… I am the guy that said yo the waitress “i have a complaint”… oh, I am sorry what happened…and I said “the food was too good” ! May plan was to eat half of it because of my prediabetis …but no such luck.

We had been traveling for 8 hrs in a car. We saw this little pizza place at the end of a strip of stores and took a chance. What a cute little place. Pizza was excellent, the young lady that took care of us was awesome. I can’t remember her name. We were there on Dec 21, 2024@ 2pm ish. Thanks for a yummy meal. So glad we took a chance.
