If living nearby Santa Fe springs and havent tried this mom-and-pop owned sandwich, you are missing out big time. So fresh and toasty good!! No wonder they’ve been in business for so many years; They bake breads daily. Clean and well maintained shop with large parking and good amount of dining tables. Solid good!!

Hadn’t eaten here in a few years so I stopped in. Food is still good but $13 for a sandwich with only 2 thin slices of turkey and a ton of lettuce. Avocado sliced paper thin as well. I wont be back.

Judging by the location, the emptiness of the place, and the quietness of the kitchen, I couldn’t help but assume that this restaurant doesn’t get much attention.
I still gave it a try. The lady who took my order was really sweet, and her reccomendation of a BLT was spot-on. I waited no longer than 5 minutes for my sandwich, if that. The bread was the real star-I had the softest, tastiest multigrain bread I’ve ever eaten in my entire life.
The thing about this place is that it’s surrounded by soulless, corporate buildings on all sides. It’s hidden behind a bank and shares a parking lot with corporate offices. I doubt anyone in the area is actually looking for food, which is the sad part. The quality of the food I had was on-par with many chains that do well purely due to the location.
I will be reccomending this place to anyone in the area. I hope it builds a name for itself to overcome the crappy location.
(By the way, they also have fresh pastries and muffins)

Ordered a grilled chicken salad for here, they left my order outside on the table for minutes before realizing I guess that was my order… The chicken was cold and had an odd taste and the lettuce seemed to be stale. Will not be going back.

I ordered and paid for BLT extra bacon and got a disappointing sandwich bacon so old and hard you can break a tooth on . Called and they wouldn’t say anything but it was made fresh . I’ll tell you what the bread and Lettuce and Tomato were fresh the that Bacon had to be leftover from who knows when and hard as nails.

This place is so good. I have found this place recently and now go here almost once a week. The sandwiches are made in really fresh bread and the ingredients are really thoughtfully put together and have an excellent ratio of ingredients. The lattes here are also excellent. This mom shop really feels like the secret ingredient is love and attention to detail, and everyone if so polite and friendly and knows regulars they know by name.

We tried this place out because I was craving a good soup and sandwich. I also stopped because of the good reviews but I’m really confused. Yes they do make fresh bread there however the bread we all had was dry and crumbly like it was missing ingredients? The lettuce they used was not up to par and my daughter’s bacon looked kinda crazy. About a week old or something. I didn’t end up ordering a soup because the lady seemed stressed out taking our order, and I wanted to try the sandwich first But I ended up being really disappointed. The lady was nice and she did get our order right I’ll give her that but the bread and lettuce ruined everything.
The place did look cleaned and organized. They also have a sign that says no refills.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/and MONEY.. I believed the reviews, and was terribly disappointed. I think they should probably stick to the type of foods they’re used to making, because clearly, they have no idea what a BLT, tastes like. Its unfortunate this shop is in a business area, so employees from the surrounding businesses have no choice but to eat here, if they don’t want to drive too far out. The bread WAS PERFECT, the bacon was CHEAP/and barely had enough on there, as you can see.
